Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
This is "psychological" increase in power. Because, when you will be about to hit reserve the bike starts giving minute jerks which increase as the fuel decreases which in turn feels like power loss and the bike acts like a dying chicken. Then when u turn the knob to reserve, the bike starts roaring again.Originally posted by santhoshamazon View PostToday I experienced something different. When the petrol came to reserve and as i changed the knob, i felt like the power has increased. this might sound crazy. but yes. In petrol on mode..i felt something was holding back bikes power. but when i turned to reserve i felt the throttle more open and the bike getting freed from tied rope. Can any body help me telling whats going on..should i be worried ?
Try going reserve when you have sufficient fuel, there wont be any difference. It's a lot like nuts and bolts - if the rider's nuts, the ride - bolts!

Also I have noticed if yij are about to hit reserve bike will be a bit slow for last 1-2 kilometers petrol being less.may be that's one of the reason.Originally posted by Sal View PostThis is "psychological" increase in power. Roger that [emoji4]Originally posted by jbm_guy View PostYou can check in user guide or search for NS forums. I think trip2+3seconds of both buttoms depressed.
You can start riding now at 6-7K RPM. Don't jump to test the top end.
well theres no mention abt that in the user manual.. n "trip2+3sec" does not work.

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
Not advisable till 2000kms for any straight ride.because you need to vary your rpm a lot.best till 2000kmsOriginally posted by santhoshamazon View PostMay be..anyhow thanks bro !

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
For your Run-in period, you should shift up at 5K RPM max. Don't ride at a constant RPM for long durations, keep your revs variable. Also, try not to ride in a particular gear for long distances.Originally posted by Sal View PostWhats the recommended rpm to be maintained / not crossed, between 1000-2000kms?Vrooming Soul..!!

Hello Guys
I need a help.recently i gave my AS200 for servicing(2nd free serv).Service was done properly. What what i do experience is low Pickup on every gear, probably low torque.I remember my bike had crazy torque and the power was punchy even on 30+ speeds on 4th gear. But now power seems very less. The only thing i can think of is he adjusted the chain saying it was very loose, adjusted clutch settings.these are the only changes which i can think off.I don't think he Fine-Tuned by Carburetor though.
Any suggestions please.

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
May be but i haven't seen him doing anything with AFR.He did went for a short test ride but who knows he might have doe it there because i was complaining about cold start.Originally posted by Sal View PostI guess, they could have messed with the afr screw.
But what are the chances for it to be the clutch settings or the Chain being too tight or loose?

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
Yes chain being too loose can result in power loss. Check for the play, if there is a lot of play in the chain tighten it a lil, if there is no play at all, then loosen it. Don't tighten the chain too much. If chain is tight, you will feel vibrations in the footpegs.Originally posted by xplod566 View PostMay be but i haven't seen him doing anything with AFR.He did went for a short test ride but who knows he might have doe it there because i was complaining about cold start.
