If you like apache then you can wait for it.I think by next year Jan or Feb,not before that.but ns has a little better handling than as due to naked and no front fairing.but with as u get awesome front projector head lights .
Don't go by at what price you get more power instead go with what your need is.Mojo is a cruiser.so if you like cruiser go for it.Ns is a naked bike so go if you like naked bikes.and as is a semi faired bike.so jot down what is your requirrment and take a bike accordingly. I believe mojo wil cost around 1.5 lakhs,as costs around 91.500
Also if you believe in abs then go for apache.they have decent abs.anything more you want to know about as?

After riding my GS150 for a month in my hometown, the AS feels like a nightmare to ride. The vibrations are pathetic and terribly low torque at low (<4.5K rpm) is just irritating. This was aided by the the pathetic sound of the engine and brake lever being too high and giving me a foot cramp.

I was very irritated by these problems so I tried to fix whatever I could as I am stuck with this bike now.

Firstly, I installed a Cosworth airfilter which I pulled out from my GS as I only use it for about 2 months every year.

This didnot help with the sound, I expected it will. If anything the airfilter made the sound even worse.

But on the otherhand the airfilter did bring a significant amount of torque to the lower end but I could feel the lack of power at the higher ends (9K+ rpms). Also I could feel lower vibrations after putting the filter on.

Mileage stayed the same at 29kmpl. The engine didnot heat up with the addition of the freeflow airfilter either.

The metal wire keeps the lever from springing back up.

P.S. I wanted to buy a Cosworth for my pulsar as I didn't want to take out my old filter from my Suzuki, but all the shops said that they stopped bringing Cosworth filters and I don't like KnNs, Greens or UNI. I dont even know except KnN which all brands are still there. If anyone finds one in Bangalore can you please send me the address of the shop.

Another thing that I forgot to mention in the previous post that the gearshift was clunky as hell. I had to put significang amount of force to change the gears so I changed my engine oil. It had been 1200 kms after my 1st service and the oil was gone. The oil had become completely dark and had very thick.

I went to the nearest Service Center from where I live to get a new oil filter. Since I gave the bike for first servicing there the guy recognised me and said I will change the oil filter in the second servicing. When I told him it has just been 1200kms, he told that there is no need to change the oil or oil filter for 5000kms. I just said OK and got the filter from another Service Center.

The HP oil that Bajaj provides is not good for the bike to run 5000kms without oil change. Even you buy Full Synthetic oil or any high grade oil. The wear and tear from the engine creates a lot of debries in the engine oil which needs to be cleaned regularly. Anyone who buys this bike please keep that in mind and also that don't do everything that the Service Center guys tell you to do. Ask anyone who is experienced like a reliable mechanic(not the ones in bajaj service center), or just ask the experienced members of the many forums out there.

Hi and welcome. The problem that you are having is not new and I faced and fixed that by getting my hands dirty with the bike.

Heres an image showing you which knob to turn to adjust the position of the reflector or the high beam and the projector or low beam. You need to open the fairing to access the high beam projector adjusting screw.

You can also set the brake lever a bit lower so that your foot doesn't hurt. But this you have to do it yourself and you cannot approach any service center with this Unless you do a tidyer and concealed job instead of making it look ugly like I did.

As wil not even sweat at 100 speeds.20 kms looks nice. I travel 25kms a day and no probs at all.engine is really good in AS because you won't know your bike is at 100 until you check the speed [emoji4]
I am shocked to see that even at 100 speed you won't feel a pinch of vibration from engine.now that's some engineering from Bajaj
However AS is a tad smoother than AS ,that's what the Bajaj claims and its clear when you ride both.

Nice engineering .could you explain regarding the rear break lever as I also face the same issue.

Regarding torque I absolutely don't agree with you that the bike has less torque before 4.5k rpm.it has ample when compared with respect to city riding.power is ample, even the rpm meter needle dances like a zoom after 5k rpm.

Also regarding mileage 29 is extremely low.the tuning of your bike seems absolutely off or some serious problem.

The details you Gave above,if such is the case then you have got a lemon brother.you need to show it to the service centre.I hope they fix it as its uncharacteristic of pulsar mentioned above by you.

As I told you the bike is faulty.I changed my engine oil after 1900 kms and it still was little red.agreed its not as long lasting as motul but its good.just need to change it at around 1700-1800kms.
BTW did you do your run-in properly.
Also the service centre you are visiting are you sure its a good one.1200kms and black oil is not at all possible until its not genuine or a faulty oil.

He he.its a good bike.people say its a value for money but I don't agree to it.its a flagship by Bajaj and you get more than what you pay for. and damn what an engine.its a gem of an engine.
I think mileage you might get up to 38-39.its a different engine.even if you rip it or go smooth with it mileage stays almost the same.its a good thing .
And parts are extremely cheap and basically no mantainance.

                                1. Bajaj oil lasts only 1500kms
                                2. Motul lasts and protects better than bajajoil
                                3. You might have got a defective unit
                                4. Touch air filter and that's the starting point of ruining the bike
                                5. Less torque around 4-5k, no this bike has a linear power delivery, again this bike could have had a problem.
