I need suggestions on few things guys:

      1. I am still facing issues with the loose handle assembly feeling. I am unable to find confidence is riding at speeds more than 70km/hr. The bike bounces like a 100CC bike on the flyovers, uneven roads and tends to loose grip on crosswinds.
      2. Lot of irritating vibration on the handle bar, the vibration numbs my palms and makes it very very uncomfortable for me to ride for more than 20 minutes.
      3. Rear view mirrors vibrate a lot and makes it difficult for me to see on low gears and high revs.
      4. Light bulbs need to change, the low beam is like in the middle of high and low and irritates oncoming driver, I am unable to see anything on road as there is no brightness. Highbeam is signalling to autobots though its helpful on highways to pass the truckers.
      5. Help me with a helmet lock, my fiance rides with me often and it becomes difficult for me to take her helmet as I have to carry it hanging at my forearm. If I clip it at the grip above the tail lights, it leaves scratched on the body and tail light. It fell once on the highway because the bike bounces around on a flyover joint at 70 to 90 km/hr.

Frankly guys, I am unable to find any joy in riding my bike. I bought a 200CC beast for a reason. I keep it like a princess, get it cleaned professionally every week, cover it everynight with a heavy duty bike cover (believe me it's so good that the my neighbors who have RE350 & 500s have asked me to get them) keep it on idle before riding it and at the end of the day. I do not switch off the engine if I am not gonna wait for more than 2 minutes. I always ride with atleast 4 liter fuel in the tank but, it seems as if something is gravely missing. There is no smoothness, mushyness of suspension. It just drops on every breaker, pot hole, flyover joint and wobles like a platina at 70km/hr.

Let me know guys what I can do to bring things back to track. Thanks guys.

I know that feeling mate. When you see other people mistreat their bikes and still have an awesome experience, when we are stuck in a ditch with a bike, which should be in pristine condition, but is isn't!

I would suggest you change SVCs. Get hold of a trusted, experienced mechanic, and let him know your issues. He should be able to solve most of them.

Specially worried about the bouncing around at speed issue. Get your forks checked for damping and re-bound.

All ASs have the loose handlebar feeling, when the bike slightly turns left when you leave the handlebar. It is a known issue with no clear solution, as of now.

The lightbulbs need to be adjusted, for sure. Bajaj QC is not the greatest, even the high-beam on my bike points to the sky! There are hidden knobs which can be used to adjust the throw.

Yep, Summers , it comes on Often, heat is pretty puffin outta the fan is pretty puffin hot...but chillax, its no issue...its an engine , its meant to heat up, just dont race unecessarily at standstill. kill the engine at red lights. If it crosses the set threshold of 100+(i dunno the correct value for sure) degrees on the coolant then the LCD lights up with a 'coolant hot' logo. Once you're out of second service, switch to Motul 5100 or 7100. I have used both, Ive felt that the engine ran cooler with the 5100. I dunno, can someone tell me if this is true???. Although the 7100 too keeps it cool no doubt, way cooler than the bajaj minerals. Enjoy the heat bro.

Awesome Mod bro!! i did something similar too. But took out the old puny horn and installed a pair of rugged BOSCH impact dual-tone. Freakin loud. Now i get the same respect as that of a car.. its fun to blare it at idiot rick riders rollin on the side of the road pretending that its a bike.

could you click a pic and post it here how did you set up dual horns. Its too cramped in there to work some jugad to install another horn.

              Hello folks!
Just completed 100 kilometers yesterday. Took the bike on a fairly long ride through some unknown roads and rough terrain past 10PM and clocked about 30 kilometers. The ride included two four laned highways(NH66 and NH75) and a few non existent interior roads with little to no asphalt whatsoever; I did this intentionally to gain some confidence. It's been almost 40 days since I got my bike and will be taking it for the first service either tomorrow or the day after. Any key points that I need to keep in mind or stress for at the service center? I'll be asking them to change the oil filter and tighten the rear view mirrors. Anything else other than this that needs to be asked for? The suspension seems to be a bit too hard. Should I ask them to change the setting for a softer ride?

              Thanks and regards.

hello all. I have recently bought PULSAR AS 200, in march 2016. The purchase was done from a local dealer. Now the problem I am facing is my dealer not giving me the manual booklet. he is giving me some weird reason as, Bajaj Company is not giving manual to the Pulsar AS 200 buyers, who have purchased the bike in 2016 after march. He also said that the free servicing coupons and all that system is now ended, and new mailing system has started. As we have to ask them before bringing the bike to service center for servicing then they will give an appointment by mailing us. I was not satisfied with his replies. So I directly said him I have a doubt of what he is saying. He said me if you have a doubt so clear it, by providing him a AS200 manual booklet of the owners who bought it after match 2016. To be honest now I am totally brain freeze, as what to do? please help me, is my local dealer saying truth, as i have mailed bajaj about this problem two times, yet they didn't replied me. What should i do now?

He is outright lying. Call up the bajaj customer care number and lodge a complaint. Even i have got a response from bajaj as they forward the complaint to the dealer.

Dude, you should'nt have accepted the delivery without the manual book and delivery schedule papers. The Manual is everything for the next 3 years, engine warranty depends on it. You should have booked it at the showroom, local dealers are sleaze bastards, i have had bad experience with these 2-bit dealers when i had initially booked an Enfield before the AS.

This does sounds suspicious. Confirm this with other owners from the same showroom as well as with the customer care.

                        If found incorrect:-
write to the customer care as well as the MD (yes escalate from the first stage itself). Mention that you have been swindled and that you are not at all happy with the way things have been going on/handled.

In case more owners faced that same problem, mention that fact as well.

Could anyone recommend a A.S.S in Mumbai I did my first service at the centre in Borivli the one behind metro shopping mall. They insisted I use bajaj dtsi oil. I wanted to switch to motul 5100. Other than that IV had a decent experience with them. IV done about 2900-3000 km in close to 2 months

Having a good service centre that doesn't spoil the bike in any way is a boon. If the choice of oil is the only factor (unless it voids any warranty) then why not try changing oil yourself and ask the ASC to service the bike sans the oil change routine ?

When I eventually plan to sell it, can't I re-fit my the original exhaust go back to stock?
Yes they are too good and they do come with Bend pipe with Aluminum Finish.. So so chance of catching Rust..

There is no harm in going ahead with the Mod.. Just that.. When you upgrade.. You again have to modify or will have to sell it to someone or will have to fit a new one to your new upgrade..

You can fit same Exhaust to a New bike as well but.. You wont feel like fitting a used exhaust to a New bike..

Exhaust Mods are for Long Run..

Yes you can fit your stock exhaust anytime.. Just AFR screw setting needs to be reset..

                                Cheers 🍻
