Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
Mine has clocked 4k+. Second service done. I have pushed it above hundred 2 or 3 times. But while riding if you you press the clutch and let the bike coast, the speed reduces gradually. The numbers feels like dropping very fast.Originally posted by joshdsy View Post

Remove the front disc 2 pot slave cylinder by removing the two bolts from right side fork. Check now , if front wheel feels free to rotate then its problem with front disc break. In my case it was not the disc break , it was the wheel bearings .Originally posted by vrnmhjn View PostYes I have tried the same. The rear complete the revolution without any stress. Front looks like doing it under some resistance but still completes it.
Let us know the results.

Thanks mate. Those are some good points.Originally posted by AmanZ View PostYes they are too good and they do come with Bend pipe with Aluminum Finish.. So so chance of catching Rust..
There is no harm in going ahead with the Mod.. Just that.. When you upgrade.. You again have to modify or will have to sell it to someone or will have to fit a new one to your new upgrade..
You can fit same Exhaust to a New bike as well but.. You wont feel like fitting a used exhaust to a New bike..
Exhaust Mods are for Long Run..
Yes you can fit your stock exhaust anytime.. Just AFR screw setting needs to be reset..
Cheers 🍻

Are you having the correct tyre pressure?try with 28 front nad 32 rearOriginally posted by vrnmhjn View PostMy AS200 doesn't feel free enough. If you press the clutch and let the bike coast, the speed drops even on slopes. Is anything wrong with my bike? Any ways to check the fault? Don't want to go to the ASC. They don't understand at all.

I will check and confirm. I believe I usually keep slightly higher tire pressure than recommend.Originally posted by xplod566 View PostAre you having the correct tyre pressure?try with 28 front nad 32 rearLast edited by vrnmhjn; 04-29-2016, 05:13 PM.

I just purchased another horn and just fixed it thats all... it loud and sweet..Originally posted by Vicky_New_Guy View PostDo you really need that much horn? I'm using a P220 horn which is more than enough. What was Bajaj thinking with our horns? It just sucked.. Big time... But P220 is good enough.

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
guus need an urgent answer I was about to switch to motul7100 fs at 7000km. I just saw a sale on amazon motul300v 15w50 for 760rs a bottle. Should I get it or will 7100 be better. I am running dtsi oil as of now. Also is drain interval of 300v quite short? I may end up investing more in the long run.

Go in for 7100 bro.. Its the best for our bikes. Plus, if possible wait for about another 1000kms if possible since 8k is the ideal time to switch.Originally posted by Anubhav M View Postguus need an urgent answer I was about to switch to motul7100 fs at 7000km. But whenever you do, 7100 is the way to go.

For AS/NS/RS recommended Grade is 20W50...Dont use other grade engine oils.. Stick to recommended grades Always... Engine may behave Different..Originally posted by Anubhav M View Postguus need an urgent answer I was about to switch to motul7100 fs at 7000km. Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
From what I read on the internet its just the temperature rating for viscosity of the oil. Here in this region temperatures dip t zero in winters. apart from that wil motul300v be a good choice over 7100. Any advantages or disadvantages?Originally posted by AmanZ View PostFor AS/NS/RS recommended Grade is 20W50...Dont use other grade engine oils.. Stick to recommended grades Always... Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
The dtsi oil I am running on has already done around 3000kms. The engine is getting viby and shifts are becoming hard. That is why I wanted to switch a little early. MOTUL300V usually costs 1100plus so that is why I was considering it as both 7100 and the later are priced same as of now.Originally posted by GauravD View PostGo in for 7100 bro.. What is the drain intervals for both?Any merits/demerits ?

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
I am not sure if I noticed this before that when the engine is cold or warm keeping the clutch fully deperessed when I change to any gear the rear wheel starts spinning slowly even though I am holding down the clutch entirely. I dont know if its a serious issue with clutch plate or something related to engine oil lubrication. Any ideas?

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
Does this happen when the wheel is in contact with the ground or when you have the bike on the centre stand? If its the latter, then its perfectly normal. But if its the former, then that means the wheelspin is strong enough to move your bike even with the gear disengaged and thats not a good thing. Hope this helpsOriginally posted by Anubhav M View PostI am not sure if I noticed this before that when the engine is cold or warm keeping the clutch fully deperessed when I change to any gear the rear wheel starts spinning slowly even though I am holding down the clutch entirely.
