I'm looking for better lights but don't wanna change the setup. I'm looking for powerful yellow lights. It comes default with a projector for low beam. I'm looking for an upgrade on both the bulbs. Also need to keep in mind that we don't have a kick start option, so need to avoid straining the battery too much

You need to grip the throttle a little loose and make sure that the body weight under normal riding is slightly above the horizontal median of the throttle. You may think that your body will not get enough support by doing this when riding normally. Wrong - the inertia of motion due to which your body moves backwards during motion is more than enough to provide support.

In this position when you brake and your body moves forward under inertia of motion, due to your weight being on the section above the median the throttle automatically drops. Took me a while to figure this one out by hit and trial but once I did and practised it a lot I can virtually count on this technique now.

Never had even close to a wheel lock up, by the grace of the Almighty, using this technique under panic braking.

      1. Motul 7100 is the best you can for your bike. If you take into consideration the cost factor and the change intervals it turns out to be a way more better proposition than the default DTSi oil. 7100 can easily last for atleast 5.5k - 6k kms between changes whereas the DTSi lasts for about 2k. So bro you could well see that you would be spending atleast 1200 bucks for 6k kms.

      2. The Amazon prices are cheaper than what you would get in the open market. I just bought 7100 for 800 to a liter in Gurgaon.

      3. The fairing noise -- welcome to bandwagon my friend. Never been able to figure where exactly that comes from. What I did was take apart EVERYTHING made of plastic like the fairing, headlights etc etc of my NS and then put everything back together again using double sided tape and washers etc. It does help a lot - you could give it a shot too mate.

Any other questions feel free to holler bro !

As per me bro, from what I could make out, its more a case of the improper gear being chosen to ride up the slope. Try shifting a lower gear instead of half clutching. I am sure that you would know half clutching also affects your clutch plates. Plus you may want to get your clutch tightened a bit.

Forgive me if I misinterpreted your post.
Bro what i am trying to say is that when i start my bike engage 1st gear then it sometime shuts down . I have to engage the clutch and then accelerate for a second then its okk.

In this case bro .. get your clutch tightened... whats the play on your clutch if I may ask. As per the Bajaj manual it should be about 5mm if I remember. Let us know if this is tick marked by you.

Bro.. you also would like to check your idling rpm

Idle is fine bro.. But i would suggest reduce play to half.. It should solve the issue.

AND so on... AS also tackles oncoming wind blasts... i was lucky while purchasing i got mrf which resulted in taking turns @88 kmph.....road was absolutely fine the politicians did well.. it was nice experience riding in between of farms.. made my day...
But riders with phones can kill u... and you will have to bear the hole blame as you are riding high speed bike...

                Hey dudes!

Any one has plans for an aftermarket exhaust? any thoughts, leads, links to some exhausts compatible with our bike?

I also read that it will void the warranty! What is the AS's warranty duration? 1 or 2 yrs? Any help would be deeply appreciated

You Can fit Aftermarket Exhaust after completing 7k or 10k or after 3rd free service, which is at 7.5k - 10k kms..

I m planning to fit Mark Performance Exhaust system.. They are based in Mumbai, Worli. Exclusive Exhaust manufacturer with Bend pipe.. Attached is the Image of their Collection.. The Small tin bottle is the one I like the most.. And is the Loudest.. 🔊

They can be easily Fit in Pulsar AS, NS and RS.. Check out their page on FB..

If you plan to sell the bike say around 2 or 3 years down the line.. and upgrade to a New beast.. I would suggest don't go for Aftermarket or any other modification..

I intend to keep My AS200 for atleast 5 to 7 years..

Its Bajaj dude..even if the warranty voids.. The service backup is still good and affordable as well.. Dont worry much about the Warranty..

                    Cheers 🍻

I'm still waiting to get my bike from repairs. Have it at Chiplun on 01/04. Spoke with them on Saturday and the parts still weren't dispatched. So the parts really come from Aurangabad? That's what the SVC told me. Tried calling customer care. The call dropped after 30 min wait. Don't really have the time and patience to call again. Sent an email to [email protected] on 17/04. Still no reply. Any other options to get things done faster? Please let me know. I'm getting fried. The only other mods of transport I have is an Activa.
                      TIA

                            That's surprising.
Drop in a complaint on the Bajaj website.
That did the trick for me and they sent the parts to the service centre within 2 days.

Visit the Auto Service Banshankari 2nd stage. If they can fix its good or else they would ask you to claim for insurance and get it replaced.
can you please tell me what is the procedure for insurance claim.

Yes, esp on hot condition and on riding at low gears.... But more than 2k rpm is on higher side. Keep an eye...what's your idling rpm in cold
