The idle RPM is 1.1K when cold and 1.5K when hot. So i guess thats not an issue. Will ride some more and hope the issue goes away on its own.

Increase it a bit, lets say 1.5k cold and see. Let me try that as well. Not sure how it is idling right now.

Good that you get a fresh stock. Ask for MRF tyres if possible. First they said no to my NS, but after bargaining and fighting that I won't book so and so, they agreed. But a wait is worth. More you do the run-in properly, the better the engine gets set. You will love it. Post buying, if you are interested let me know, we can go out and munch some miles
Of course, already heard much about eurogrip,
but MRF zapper's tyre threads doesn't look convincing either, for Chennai roads. How does it handle in partially sand covered roads?

Sure man, let me know when you go for long rides. None of my friends are that interested in touring [emoji16]

I am having the MRF ones and the tryes arent that good on sand.On dry they are good also on wet not that great.

Most importantly checkif the biles tilts to left if you leave the handlebar at speeds of 40+.If it does dont accept the bike doesnt matter whatever he says

Nope, It goes all the way in. I kept the cloth that way for the pic. Even P220 as a similar spot!

                    Hi,

This is Off topic. But I go through this thread everyday.

When does Apache 200 going to release?? Any idea? jbm_guy once said it may be mandatory above 150CC to have ABS. So apache 200 comes with ABS. Im waiting to buy.

Apache 200 will be released by February 2016 (Auto Expo).

                      It has:

                      > more upright sitting posture & mono suspension
                      > All digital console
                      > Body design/looks borrowed from Draken concept
                      > Air cooled engine with oil cooler (like P220)
                      > Optional ABS

BTW, AS resale is pathetic. max am offered was 75k for a 6months and 3.5k Kms old bike. Looks like am stuck with this! Am feeling very very uncomfortable riding it after the incident!
Glad to see you too bro..

Regarding the fairing noise, i was planning to add washer's and double side tapes to see if it helps, seems like someone had done it and it worked.

Now again, my major problems are with engine stalling and gears. It happened again yesterday, i was first in the signal, just moved a few meters after the signal turned green and the bike shuts down all of a sudden in the middle of the road

If you have any solution for this, please do let me know. I wount be able to run around SVC's atleast till 25th.
Hey bro..you mentioned carb overflow issue right? If so it could also contribute to the shut off issue of the bike. I'd check spark plug to know the af ratio. Overflow is not common. It has to be rectified. My p180 has never overflowed in my 2yrs of ownership except when it once fell on it's side at idle.
