Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
Bro!! I too felt the same after my yesterday's first service. So, I took the bike for the long ride today for about 130km. Initially for about 30km I felt like stressed (passing 4-5k rpm) then suddenly I felt disappointed and and ripped it to 8k rpm and made a top speed of 130kmh for about 4km and then it felt like butter smooth. And for the next 80km it was just very fine and smoothOriginally posted by zequirkynetizen View PostSince recently (around a week back), the bike feels kind of stressed initially, more actually past 4k or 5k rpm.
It had become much smoother after 1st service, but I feel it's back to how it was prior to that. It performs well, no issue with performance though.
Just that I feel it's really trying hard to pull initially.

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
Guys I need some help. I have to take my bike to a different city and I have considered all options and the only option suitable is to drive it there. The distance is 1100 Km and I intend to complete that in 3 days. My bike has done 300km and will get the bikes 1st service and then take it up for the long haul. Please lend me some tips and dos and donts so that I do not ruin my bike in the break in period. I intend to take the bike maximum of 70km/hr on the highway varying the speeds and giving proper rest to the bike but slower than that and I will not be able to cover the distance in 3 days.

3 days is a good enough time to cover the distance with the method you intend to follow with regards to speed and breaks.Originally posted by Anubhav M View PostGuys I need some help. A few more things to keep in mind
- lube the chain every 500 kms
- keep varying the RPMs in all the gears. Considering it's a highway run at least do that on gears 4, 5, 6.
- you can surely take the bike to 6k RPM at gears 3, 4, 5, 6. Pls do not follow the manual blindly and limit yourself to 5k RPM.
Mainly enjoy the ride and the journey. The weather is pleasant these days and do wear a protective jacket and full face helmet.---

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
Can anybody tell how do you know that u have hit reserve?? I am little bit confused with it..!! Is the fuel indicator accurate on our bike or it has some error's? Bcoz I every time refuel the bike when the petrol indicator is left with one bar and I never noticed it hitting reserve. Thanks in advance

When the bike stops in main then it hits reserve.you will have to manually turn the knob to reserve.bike wouldn't start in main thenOriginally posted by Harsha Mahendrakar View PostCan anybody tell how do you know that u have hit reserve?? Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
Would recommend the spartan aspida range. I think the Icarus comes in that range. This is a mesh jacket which would surely be useful in Indian summers as well.
You won't get winter specific jackets in that range. But then those jackets do come with a rain liner which can also be used as a liner during winter to avoid the chilly winds reaching your body.
A few more points to keep in mind
- even if you're traveling light tie the bags via a bungee cord, the weight of a backpack will strain the back.
- keep yourself hydrated.
Do share pictures of your ride and journey with us
