Ok.mine was same until I realised the right side leg guard was having no bolt.check that.
If yours is still fine then its the loose Console.
If it's still there then the footpegs .if there is a play in the footpegs when you try to move it parallel then it needs to be tightened

• So it took my 9000Kms to understand the issue on this bike!

Ever since i bought the bike i had been having a strange problem.Somtimes it behaves how it should and sometimes a totally different character.I thought thats how pulsars were but then i had one BIG problem.Inconsistent mileage. And doesnt matter how much i ripped or sedately i ride , 9 out of 10 times it returned me around 31 Kmpl and that lucky 1 time it would give me 38 Kmpl on Bnaglore traffice.THen the terrible Cold start problrem every 2-3 Hours.THe point is when its 31 you know Fuel i not getting burnt properly. So recently i was getting 26 and a sudden Jerk if i open the throttle. Then the vibes and little did i know i was hearing tappet noise.I tried adjusting AFR screw multiple times but no good.

Finally i visited Khivraj kasturba road for a thorough checkup. The service head knows me well and he listens to whatever i say.So i asked him for a mileage test for 100ML.it showed 2.5 Kms meaning 25 Kmpl.Thats insane.Service person told thats normal and thats when he got a proper dose from me.He told he will call the Bajaj head engineer and fix an appointment to fix it as he thought its in my head and bike is fine.I told him atleast doa thorough checkup and then get back to me.Even after that its not fixed i cna understand.

Finally it was taken to service. The SVC guy is a champ in NS.He absolutely knows what he is doing. He opened the Fuel pipe and cleaned it,Opened the carb and cleaned it ,checked the tappet settigns and did it,spark plug, Diapharm etc etc....Finally when i tested it again it was having awesome pickup with such a smooth engine and 38Kmpl!.

After thinking a lot i found out 2 problems with the bike

1)Diapharm was incorrectly placed when stock.
2)I am sure the tappet was out of place as i dont hear any sort of noise at all and i think i now Know how tappet noise sounds like!

The reason why i was able to fix it because i made my mind to fix it that day and doesnt matter whatever happens they will have to fix it.We invest a lot and SVC guys ideally doesnt care much.THe same problem when i told on 5000 Kms they told everything is fine with AFR tuning done.ANd now he actually did it coz i told him to proide me with a Job Sheet saying its fine and normal(26 KMPL with vibes etc) and i will get abck to Bajaj.ANd the same guy actually fixed it and i get to witness his excelent work.He did coz he tried and he knew what he was doing.Bike beels so fresh now and loving every bit of it.I am still to check Tank full method but then i think its no more an issue because the bike starts at 1 click and the idle is absolutely smooth hearing every beat!Yes thats a sign of healthy engine and correct AFR settings for a Carb bike.

I would aslo like to personally thank Divya Sharan who initially told me it might be an issue with Diapharm or the carb as the Diapharm was indeed placed improperly on the bike .

That's awesome man. I'm glad you actually made it a point to get the bike running perfectly fine not matter what.

Alas, the SVC where I go, doesn't seem to either understand the problem or lack the mechanism/tools to correct it or simply lack knowledge.

For my major problem, the bike tilting left side (which has started to cause body, right-hand and right shoulder pain now), they said nothing much can be done about it. That it's a known issue in both AS 200 and 150 and NS 200. He said he changed some cone, torque settings and it is slightly better now. But I don't really feel much difference. Three times 3 different people took it for test ride when I got it to SVC.

They later told me they'll contact the Sr. Guys and get back to me in 3 days, which I doubt and then with my permission they closed the complaint (I'd sent email to bajaj for this issue earlier).

Yes, there are small issues here and there and I'd really like to sort each one. It's better to do it now as my bike is just a month and a half old.

Left tilting, vibs around console, turning off randomly, low idle rpm etc. Sadly I don't even get time to check everything properly due to my busy work schedule.

I feel it's useless to take it to SVC, these guys don't treat the bike as we do. Sigh!

My bike still tilts left but then i will sort it out like i did for this bike regarding low fuel economy.I am also not getting time.I had just one day off and totally dedicated to it.Other problems like console vibe was there but they tightened it when fixing the mileage issue. Its no more now.
Send a mail to bajaj.the point is those guys are well aware of this issue but too lazy to fx it.DOnt leave until you fix it!

Hey Guys,

I had a huge disagreement with my team mate regarding the tyres offered on AS200. If I remember it correctly, initially both MRF and Eurogrip were offered on the bike. But my team-mate insists that at the time of launch (first 1 month), only Eurogrip were available and MRF were not offered even as an option. Did someone here get the MRF tyres on the bike during the first month of launch?

This is normal coz that's when the power kicks in bro.don't worrk you will get used to it.however when I switched to motul 7100 after 7760 kms ,I saw it disappear. Now its 9540 in the ODO and I don't have any vibes at all at that rpm range.give it some time

Hey bro, i really appreciate your dedication towards your bike. Whereas most ppl tend to curse the bike or the brand, you kept tinkering with your bike to achieve massive gains! Hats off!
Infact most of the issues i've faced are similar to yours like tilting to the left, low mileage, Tappet noise, etc.
Its great to have helpful folks like you in the community man! Cheers and keep the petrol flowing through those veins!

Hehe nw bro.its a brilliant bike.surely there may be issues but we should never give up on it.
If you are having issues like it get it checked .
1)check tappet settings .must.
2)check the Carb tuning
3)check the diapharm and the spring in it.tell him to open it and clean it.
4)open the Carb and clean it completely.
5)clean air filter

These were done and I can guarantee you the problem should dissapear.

Doesnt matter whatever they say you will have to force them to do it or else tell them that bike has no issues and mention in the job card.this worked for me .even if they say no issues just force them to do all those things and I can tell you it should be resolved

Yes u will. Every come does until its twin or 4 cylinder. You need to accept the fact that this is single and has huge power for a 200cc bike compounded to the fact that it's a carb bike.its a good refined engine . try any bike like CBR 250 even r15 and u will still feel it had vibes. Also it's a machine so there will be vibes.its not an electronic one.
Just don't bother about vibes. Enjoy the power and torque of this bike. But I can say you one you move to 7100 and complete 1000 km s on it the vibes at that rpm will be gone . but change only at 8000 kms or after.
