Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
By default it's slightly on the stiffer side. You can feel it while riding.Originally posted by saran93 View PostThis is my current monoshock setup. Am I on softer side or harder side?
After changing to a softer setting, it feels a lot more relaxed and comfortable for me.

Disgrace to biking fraternity - Riding gears stolen from accident site
Hi All,
We'll this is basically a post to vent out my agony and frustration due to a harsh incident that happened with me.
05-Dec-2015: Me and my girlfriend were en route to Lavasa (both being ATGATT as always). Suddenly out of nowhere a R15 appears out of a blind corner carrying far too much speed, leaving me with nowhere to escape the imminent disaster. Moments later the R15 had a head on crash with me leaving me unconscious on the asphalt. I regained my conscious to find myself lying on my girlfriend's lap with loads of injuries. She had called an ambulance to get me and the R15 rider to a nearest hospital. Even the initial treatment for the R15 was funded by me.
While me and the R15 rider was being taken to the ambulance, a bunch of squids who were riding along with the R15 rider show up. They did nothing to help other than causing a fuss and crowd and while leaving what they did was extremely disappointing. While leaving they picked up all riding gears (including 2 helmets, 2 jackets, 4 pair of gloves, 2 pairs of riding boots, and even some cash from the riding jacket's pocket) and fled away.
At the hospital I was informed that I've had multiple fractures on both hands, and a torn ligaments to deal with. Also, they told me that I won't be able to ride for the next few months. I underwent surgery with metal plates and wires in my hands. With more than 1.5 lacs worth of medical expenses brought upon me by this damned incident, my problems didn't seem to end.
12-Dec-15: I got a call from the ASC to pay a visit to have a visual inspection of my bike, I was almost left in tears. There was so much of carnage, I couldn't believe that the bike purchased with my hard earned money had turned to a piece of scrap metal. They gave me an estimate of around 60k to fix it for me, but my heart aches because deep down inside I know that they'll never be able to restore it like it was before the crash.
After calculating for new riding gears my heart sank even further, new gears would set me back by a min. of 40k. Due to an unfortunate crash and a couple of inhuman persons I could see myself suffer so much. Hope god is there seeing everything and brings justice, I didn't deserve this...
Edit: Worst part is, I'm away from my family. There's nobody but my girlfriend to look after me. And due to the injury I won't make it office before Feb 2016 (read Loss of Pay and further financial crunch)Last edited by Abhijeet Bhattacharjee; 12-13-2015, 09:36 PM.Its the fusion of a two wheeled machine & a human being which creates a true biker.

Re: Disgrace to biking fraternity - Riding gears stolen from accident site
Very sad to hear and so unfortunate. God give you strength and bless you. Thank God you have such a great supporting girlfriend. Squids will always repay what they have caused. Cheer up and hope you will be up and riding again with both your bike and girlfriend.Originally posted by Abhijeet Bhattacharjee View PostHi All,

I am sorry to hear about the incident and trauma both physical and metal that you are going through. Well hope you get well soon and this crash wont get you away from riding again. How much do you expect to get from insurance company for 60k worth of repairs?Originally posted by Abhijeet Bhattacharjee View PostHi All,

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
The bike tilting or leaning towards left is really getting rather annoying for me. Not that it's too problematic. But in long rides it requires more pressure on right arm to counter steer the bike resulting in shoulder pain.
SVC guy said it's like that only and can't be helped. 😞
Any solution guys?

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
This seems to be a chronic problem and almost every one is having this issue. You may wanna escalate it to higher authorities or change svc. Infact every one should write to bajaj senior officials as this has become a routine problem with almost every bike. By the way how many km have you completed. Did the problem start with new bike or after a while?Originally posted by zequirkynetizen View PostThe bike tilting or leaning towards left is really getting rather annoying for me. Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
My bike had the same leaning-left issue, but this seems to have been fixed at the last service over the weekend. Neither the SVC guys nor I have any clue what changes they made that fixed the problem (they just tightened a lot of nuts). The bike is now running arrow straight, hands-free - checked it multiple times yesterdayOriginally posted by viki sah View PostCheck tyre pressure... If u recently facing this...
Update: The headlight was fixed too - the bulb had been installed incorrectly by the roadside mechanic. However, the main beam is still 10-15% down on the original item, but I guess I have to live with that.
The front disk had no feel, so I got that fixed this time. However, as a result, the front wheel is not as free as earlier (the disk is gently touching the pads)... will have to visit the SVC again next weekend.
I'm riding to Sikkim and Nepal (from Calcutta) in January, so the bike has to be in perfect shape before that. Wish I could afford to upgrade the tyres, though - I'm not happy about riding on Eurogrips in the Himalayas. In winter.
