Don't use petrol for chain cleaning,
    Instead use diesel.

Given the price of petrol, it seems a very expensive way to do it. If you do, use a sealed container and fill it up with the petrol. The liquid is much less volatile than the vapours.
On the other hand Diesel takes much much longer to evaporate, many days.
Since petrol is very volatile, it catches fire extemly easily. Better not to fiddle with it.

BTW seems like you had a great trip bro. [emoji5]

i purchased 50rs petrol and filled in spraying bottle.. and as petrol is more volatile it cleans beautifully and i guess you wont play with fire when falmable objects are around you[emoji16] where as diesel is dense and it tends to catch more dust easily and the lube doesn't fits in well.. and results in scratching soimd while riding and with chain noise free.
i did with diesel i did suffer..

and seriously this bike and do 100kmph for long time..i did enjoyed it..and ill surely go for next bajaj 400cc segment bike.

                Congratulations on your new bike.
ok thank you, yesterday i had around 130 km ride in maintaining around 50-55 & couple of times i raised 5rpm, i am getting mileage of 40+ hope engine will get smooth by 2nd service

It started when i stopped at kanpur overnight all that changed overnight is that i tampered the idle screw due to starting issue which i brought back to normal and also i got the tyre pressure reduced from 28/32 to 25/28(front/rear).
Idling adjustment has nothing to do with your issue. Can you check if your idling is stable?. Before and after rides?.

Yeah, cs400 has been the most expected and a best looking pulsar. But I'm more concerned about the issues that will hover over. Because already ktm390 is flooded with many issues, don't know how bajaj will handle such a huge torque but everything controlled...

Bikes idling is stable. Atleast that is what i think. It has an rpm of 1500 at cold start and after a short drive it hovers at around 2000. Although if i take the bike for an overdrive and them stop the bike it stays at 2500rpm for a few seconds then comes back to 2000.

That's extreme bro. 2000 and up seems something fishy. My ns cold start idle rpm is 1150 and comes to 1350 after few minutes. Post a hot ride, it hits 1500-1650 not max. Shooting to 2500 seems to be on higher side.

I think idle speed is controlled by ecu and not accessible to user in FI bikes, not sure. Can you check that?

Its never stuck at 2500 it just stays there for a few seconds then comes back to 2000 that too after a long drive or after doing high speed run. Plus i have adjusted the idle screw that way to idle at 1500at cold start. The bike is a carburated bike and not fuel injected neither is ns.

Thats classic sign of lean mixture. 6-800rpm difference in cold and hot rpm is showing lean mix. turn AFR screw to lil more rich turns (1/4th) and see how it goes.
I had similar issue with my xtreme which went away after tuning AFR screw , Now cold and hot rpms are 1-200rpm off only which is perfectly acceptable.
Carb Tuning made easy (Thanks Sibun !)

Oops, i just thought I was replying to RS200 forum, bloody tapatak..... Sorry...
Anyway 2000 rpm after ride says that afr is incorrect. If you are ready to handle this afr headache yourself, then first find out how many turns are you off the closing point. I think the default will be two complete turns. If you are able to turn clockwise, two turns fully and the screw reaches its dead end, then your afr is tuned right. But in your case, it shouldn't happen.

Please check before you adjust afr... I think you know where is located. If you are not sure about this turns, ask svc for ideal turns in a stock bike. Mine is about two turns off from dead end point (locked)

More inward you turn, it becomes more richer. Currently, the mixture is leaner. The lean mixture usually heats up engine quick and also can raise idling.
