Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
Fairing noise should be minimum than RS200, as it's the one that's got tons of fairingOriginally posted by Midhun.akd View Postokay..i'm gonna wait.. what about fairing or anything vibration on AS ??
. Anyway an AS200 owner should be able to give you the feedback

The fairing is fairly noisy. I've done almost 9,000 km, and the noise is relentless. I think it's worth trying what zequirkynetizensuggested with washers (page #117 on this forum).Originally posted by jbm_guy View PostFairing noise should be minimum than RS200, as it's the one that's got tons of fairing

On an unrelated note - after my last trip, the front end feels tight and unwieldy. The front wheel is rotating smoothly enough (wow!), so it can't be the brake pads. Didn't notice this on the trip itself.

I am not sure about the no of turns but I remember it was exactly 1.61 which probably had the best tining of all!

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
Yes. Adding washers does help. Apart from the visor, I also added washers to the screws below the headlight behind the number plate. Now noise is not there. The only vibs I get seem to rise from footpeg and handlebars.Originally posted by deebee View PostThe fairing is fairly noisy. I've done almost 9,000 km, and the noise is relentless. Could you please share a bit more information about the washers? Where did you source them from? Which brand? Are they rubber washers, or some other material?Originally posted by zequirkynetizen View PostYes. Adding washers does help. They're fibre or plastic washers. I got them from local mechanic shop. Just Rs. 10Originally posted by deebee View PostCould you please share a bit more information about the washers? Where did you source them from? Which brand? Are they rubber washers, or some other material?

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
SVC told me we need to pull swing arms outwards to fit bigger tier which will result in bad handling and poor performance of bike and its irreversible action.Originally posted by zequirkynetizen View PostAlso I'm thinking go upgrade to a 140/70 section tyre. Can anyone recommend appropriate brand and their experience if anyone has done it? Thanks.
please be careful and update me also if i m wrong and Ur able to fit 140 even i wanna go for it

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
AFAIK u can do +-10 from default profile.since we have 130 section I think 140 should be fine but that's the Max we can think about.still you might want to confirm from someone who is expert in this caseOriginally posted by nikx3392 View PostSVC told me we need to pull swing arms outwards to fit bigger tier which will result in bad handling and poor performance of bike and its irreversible action.

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
Hi Bikers,
I m reading lots of problems here and also see some guys not considering to buy AS200..its not the case.. I have owned hero Hunk for 2 years and have faced many issues with Honda engine as well...
Almost all bikes have their problems which come up when run in period is on. That is the reason experts say that during Run In time the bike should be used Single handed (Only by One person) once the run in is done the bike settles down and its real potential comes out... Its the way we guys deal with the problems matters... Even P220 tread will be full of problems and all it does not mean that it is a Bad machine..
So guys lets be positive on it and not demotivate the ones looking for AS200..
Cheers!--
