Hello Gang,
I got the first service done at Rolta Bajaj SVC in Kestopur, Kolkata on the 31st March.
What I complained about:
1. The sound from the Handle Bar Assembly when taking pot holes or steep bumpers at 30 km/hr.
2. Chain noise at high gear and low speed.
3. Rear disk break sound of pad rubbing against it.
4. The wiring that knocked out fuses.
5. Clutch and Gear, gear lever remains false when trying to lower gears from top.
6. A clinging sound when The bike is on idle.
7. Performance tuning is requested.

After Service:
1. I am still feeling that something is loose in the handle assembly. I get vibes when at 70km/hr.
2. Chain noise still there.
3. Rear disk pad sound still there, they had put water and it was not there when I took delivery. Later it came back.
4. Wiring was patched again. Roadside style Job.
5. Clutch feels better. Gears are sluggish.
6. Clinging sound not there but the engine sound ain't music either. Sounds like mini diesel locomotive engine with lower decibels.
7. Tuning is ok, it is neither for performance, neither for economy.

What is my feeling:
The bike when reached at 4k rpm it gives vibration, seems slugged and tight all the way to higher revs. It is smoother on revs below 4k. The sound on 3rd gears 4k is pure brute (sounds like benelli) but then when I push it or lower it, the sound becomes Vespa.
Stock lights are bad, I need suggestions on it. Also and very very important, the grips on the handle bar are giving me pain after 50 kms of riding. The seats and riding position becomes very uncomfortable after 25 minutes. I am 5'7" and 80 kgs and I need all you experienced riders advise on this. Rainy season approaches, do tell me all the dos and don'ts.
Cheers!
1. Is the sound a "Thud" sound?
2. Chain noise could be because of loose (too much slack) or because of some mud or sand sticking in it. Did they clean and lube chain?
3. Check the rear disc brake but putting in centre stand. See if there is any bend and find the origin of the sound. Water?. Riding on muddy water will create this scratching sound. Road side mechanic can help you
5. Gears will improve. Give some more time to let the oil work
6. NS/AS/RS engine sounds like a sewing machine in idle.
7. Never ask them to tune your bike.

The sound is like as if the Handle is loose, difficult to recognise with Helmet on though but, it's for sure from Handle Joint. The bike sways to left too when I let the handle go on smooth and even roads.
Rear Disc has no bends bro, it is probably rubbing against some dirt grain. And it only makes noise when my leg hits the brake lever.
How do I get a performance tuning done?
I park my bike in shaded parking bay at work and cover it when parked at home. I have done the anti rust coating as well.
In Kolkata, the rains are like uninvited guests. It just comes pouring in whenever it feels like. Irrespective or season.
Thank you very much for the link bro. I am sure looking into it.

Yep, you're good. Bajaj oils are pretty cheap and they sell it at the SVC. if you're past 700-800k's then switch to better ones like Motul.

Is the "thud thud" sound is common in AS 200 AND RS200 front suspension because the svc guy told me that its common because of fairing mount and fairing.
My rear disk inner pad was more flatten than outer one is it normal .
Thanks

I own RS 200 and I am getting thud noise. I guess it is a manufacturing defect.

xplod566 - Thank you very much bro but, do you advise to change the T-Stem on a bike which has done only 800kms?
I had asked the SVC Guys to tune the bike on my first service, is it going to effect much?
My palms go numb on riding after 20 minutes, what would you have me do? I am not very happy with the ride quality my bike is giving me.

Ask for a replacement or else you will develope right shoulder pain.If they say bike swaying on left is normal ,ask him to make a job sheet and take the Job card number then escalate it to Bajaj. That is when they will start working

Dont ask thme to tune. Its a nswe bike.never do it.Tuning of carb, specially for this model is not the rigth option. You will loose the stock settings forever. Its near imposssible to bring the stick setting back.

AS200 has vibes on handlebar. Its not big but its consistent buzz.buy a good pair of gloves and it should solve the problem for sure.

Hello folks. Was riding around the street roads and wore a helmet for the first time ever (I have been learning to ride in our compound and on empty street roads all this while without a helmet). Everything was fine and I went around some other streets where there were trucks and cars moving about until I found a small vacant stretch of land that had loose mud/gravel and a steep incline to reach another narrow lane, which I decided to explore and rode over to the place. As I was climbing the incline, the bike stalled and due to the loose surface, the tires lost grip and the bike went down to the right. I tried my best to hold it back but just couldn't. Somehow gathered enough strength and got it back on its wheels. Now, when I tried starting it up, it just wouldn't start. Turned the ignition on and off a couple of times and it finally started. Inspected for any major damage and concluded to my relief that the damage was minimal. Crash guard got scratched, RH mirror got dinged badly on the back, and the front brake lever's spherical tip got scratched up as well. Miraculously, not a single scratch to the fairing and the indicators were fine as well. The rear brake lever seems to be a bit bent but I couldn't confirm the same.

Now my question is, should I be reporting this to the service center guys when I go in for my first service? Any major implications that could result from this drop? This is my first vehicle and on a noob scale of 1-10, I would break the scale. Also, the rear view mirrors seem to be quite crappy with uneven surface finish and a tendency to not stay in the set position which can get annoying. Any aftermarket solution for this?

Regards.
