NS/AS/RS have huge speedo errors.I was at 131 and it showed 118!!!
The best app is My Tracks.I used it and damn its a brilliant bike.u can save routes,speeds etc etc...just try it once.

I requested for most parts to be replaced as i dont wanna be in any second thoughts when am cruising at 120+

Nonethess i do feel its a ripoff as a few parts mentioned above are clearly not in need of a replacemnt

Coming to front fork they might say they will hammer it and fix it.NEVER ever agree to it.ask for a new one.a fork can never be 100 stock once it's bent.even if it costs 6000 ask for it.if you are short on cash tell that you will get the fairing later may be but fork is a must replacement .BTW which city are you from and which SVC did you go to?

Hey am from Mumbai and i have given my bike to sai service andheri. I am very sure i want a new fork assy but the concern is how do i make sure that the one installed is a new one and not the old one. I mean i wanna do that for all parts for that matter. For example the ferring bracket if they change it or they don't i won't come to know and simply they ll add that to the bill. Also i would like to know if we can ask for the broken parts ......

You can ask for the broken / old parts from them.

hey guys a little help pls in my as 200 i'm hearing a kheek kheek kind of sound from my rear of the bike when moving above 30kmph,its not from body pannel and also feeling a vibrating sound from the fairing in 1st & 2nd gear above 4000 rpm and my bike is only 900km old can anyone pls tell me what maybe the reason for this??

Get it done in front of you... That's what I do. Please do get all the old parts back.

Simple,ask them when can they fix the parts.they will give a date and time.take leave from office that day and then tell you want to be near them when fixing it.
If they say you can't or give excuses you know its fishy and they are in a mood to make some cash out of you.so stick to your decision of being near them

Even with those parts being replaced it won't cost 20k. How do I know?? I had my radiator, front forks, handle, front rim, front brake rotor, front brake calliper, front fairing along with brackets, whole headlamp assembly, foot pegs, brake levers, clutch lever, crash guard and rear view mirrors replaced at 28k.

Cant say without inspecting mate. It could be the chain touching the metal or it could also be the disc brake or it could be anything else. Check it out in a SVC.
Tighten the fairing bolts to decrease fairing vibes.

Well i agree with what you say lets see what the final amt comes to this is just a rough estimate. Howmany days did it take for u to get the bike fixed?

Around a month, this includes the whole span from claim to settlement.
