Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
Hello Fellow Bikers,
After two miserable days and agony I could finally take some sigh of relief. I took the bike yesterday to the showroom to get it checked. I also asked the guys you installed the immobilizer to check the system. The guy was good and said that he would rather change the entire system and he did. The showroom technician said it is the fault of the immobilizer and the bike is fine. Sadly, the fuses knocked out even after they changed the system. I asked them to uninstall the immobilizer and let me ride the bike without it to see if it is ok. I took the bike from the showroom and had just reached my house and I have turn the handle full left to enter the driveway and as I did, the fuse knocked out again. Putting the bike on stand I went forward and bent to check under the fairing on the left side and noticed that 5he horn wiring harness was getting punched between the front left fork and the chassis knocking out the fuse. I took it back to showroom and they took me to SVC, it was very very disappointing to see the technicians sitting and watching tv but do not care to come to assistance saying it is almost closing time can't help it. The guy who escorted me insisted that the customer needs to go home and it is a new bike and somehow they dragged themselves out of the chair. I showed them the fault and they did some clamping and pasting. I checked it everyway possible and brought it home and it is fine now. will have the immobilizer installed after service.
What saddens me is the behaviour of the SVC fellows, no interest in doing they job they get paid for. I wonder how do they perform on the bikes that come for repairs and service. Do they even complete their duties diligently?

Re: Pulsar AS 200 Owners Review and Experiences
An immobiliser is an electronic security device fitted to an automobile that prevents the engine from running unless the correct key (or other token) is present. This prevents the car from being "hot wired" after entry has been achieved and thus reduces motor vehicle theft.Originally posted by alen.x View PostSame here bro cant understand what is this IMMOBILIZER .some says that "my immobilizer was working but horn and light was not working on as200.." where is immobilizeer in as200

Yep, it seems they did not wire the system properly, i think probably twisted the ground and negative wires and run it through the chassis. Bootlegging the ground will obviously blow the fuse. Immobilizers are useless on bikes though. For me, I have another but very small engine cut-off switch wired, I switch that off in public, undernearth the side fairing. My own very-little theft control.Originally posted by Hunterkol View PostHello Fellow Bikers,
