When do you gear the tik tik sound

When the bike is idling in neutral and even when the gear is engaged. Its not very loud but it is noticeable. It started two days after the service after a high speed run.
I tried tuning the carb from very lean to very rich but the needle swaying does not stop and it gets annoying on the highways as the bike has a jerky ride.

Also have you or anyone faced any rattling issues from the handle bar because as I go above 5000rpm I hear high frequency buzzing from the handlebar. It does not seem to be the faring as have tightened the faring with all my might using the allen key set I have. I also tightened the switches on the handlebars but it just wont go away. The mechanic says "itna to rahega its an AS200" and I or him could not find what the hell is buzzing in the bike.

Yea there is a buzzing that I also felt when in had as200.the sound thats coning may be the tappet noise.after u ride the bike for some kms and when the engine gets hot just stop it and see If you can hear some tik noise.
Also If its giving sudden jerks that means the clutch setting is incorrect and the AFR is not properly tuned

Exactly, since most of the bikes are lean tuned from factory for mileage probably , I guess many are confusing the metallic pinging sound with tappet noise.

A simple half turning my vc screw to anticlockwise fixed that problem.

Also I wonder if there are any long term effects on engine life if i am running an incorrect carb setting?

I've just got my front disc replaced. Not the brakes, just the disc. My front wheel felt jammed. Wouldn't turn freely when I put it in the main stand. The svc guy said the disc is out.

After getting it replaced I rode for a few kms. It felt even more jammed. So they opened the brake, sand papered the brake pads and maybe did some minor adjustments after which the front wheel rotates freely.

All said and done, now I don't have any braking power in the front. Before the change the front brake was awesome. The bike would come to a stop immediately. Now the front brakes just slows down the bike. I've got no front brakes in case of emergency.

When asked, he said it's because the disc is new there's no bite on the brakes which should sort itself out in time. But he didn't quote how much. It depends on how I ride. It's been 3 days and 150kms since and still no signs of improvement.

Can the new discs be a reason for the loss in braking?

If yes, then why would anyone replace the disc if it compromises braking?

What could be the reason for this?

The brake pads were opened and adjusted because after replacing the disc the front wheel was still jammed. Would that have something to do with this?

I'll be calling customer care about this tomorrow. Just need to keep my gears ready before I speak with them.

The disc out happened within a month and there was no physical damage. No accidents. No dents. I was still asked to pay for it. Don't we have a warranty fit such issues?

Disc plate needs some rubbing, & the bite increases as u use the brake number of times & not on kms covered .
Use it vigorously , & most important safely.

It should not be the disc. Because if it was due to the new disc, every new bike would have this issue. On my last Pulsar I changed the disc and did not have this issue.

IMO the tyre feeling jammed is due the pads rubbing against the disc. A mild scrubbing of the pads maybe needed to wear em down slightly.

I disc was actually out... The tyre would get jammed only at a certain point during the rotation. Sand paper was tried on the pads

The svc has the same thing to say. But it is a hazard. How can they release an unfinished product that need rubbing by the user putting his and others life at risk. What option do I have during an emergency?
Isn't the disc covered under warranty even in the first month considering there was no physical damage?

BTW how much of braking are you taking about?

It should be covered under warranty , bad luck.
One suggestion , change the brake pads also ,since it may got damaged by earlier disc

Are you sure it is oil or fuel?. You could be in trouble if it is oil. But Brownish is normal and nothing to worry about it. A pic can help here.

32-34 kpl is normal for this bike on mixed riding modes. I am getting 33-34 max. On very sane riding throughout I got 38kpl max.... Redlining always will give you 29-30 kpl....

If you want mileage about 40kmpl just turn the afr to zero position and start open 6 half turn(180 degree) or 3 full turn 360 degree turn.if u try this kindly post the mileage figures

Guys as previously posted, the jerky throttle response was resolved today. The mechanic drained the carb and there was some water in it. Also got the fuel tank drained and got around 100ml of water in it. The bike was fine tuned and now its running fine. The Severe handle bar buzzing is still there and am desperate to find a solution to it.

Today I redlined the bike and did around 145kmph but the gps app I usedon android showed a top speed of 129 only. I wonder which one is accurate because there cant be a speedo error that big. Is it?

My bike also feels underpowered ..
Is it due to bad spark plugs or carb..
