And don't worry bro everything will be fine.
Also you can so it on mineral oil also.that way the engine will be absolutely well break in.
IMO i would not try that with a mineral oil since the oil is definitely going to burn up with the throttle opened wide to cover that kind of distance. Maybe I am wrong about this assumption however it was just a thought.

Yes that's the only thought which was also crossing my mind but Bajaj Dtsi is a good oil.I used it for almost 8000kms including 500kms highway rides and crapping the heck out of the Rev limited but still no harm.if he drives at around 90-100 this engine oil will actually be awwosme as breakin

Depends a lot on your route though - accelerator cable, clutch wires, fuses and you should be set to go. Mind my asking where are you planning on doing this distance. Folks here would be able to better advise from that perspective.
Actually its more of a point to point travel and not a tour. I work in Renukoot and my home is in Chandigarh. So wanted to go there on bike and back in 10 days that makes 2200km approx. I bought the bike from chadigarh itself two months back and drove it to renukoot and my run in was completed on the highway itself but that time I did it in three days. I am quite familiar with the roads and almost all of this travel will be on 4 lanes or six lanes roads including the Yammuna expressway.
The route I plan to take is renukoot- mirzapur- allahabad- kanpur-agra-delhi- chandigarh. The only thing i am worried about is i dont want to stress the bike to a point beyond repair.
If you guys would recommend I will not get the oil changed in second service instead will switch to motul 5100 to prepare for the long haul and back.

Another thing im a bit confused about is how can i mount a 40liter duffle bag on the bike just an ordinary one,no fancy dirt sacks or rynox.
I a m saving some cash to get a decent pair or gloves and knee guards first then have my eyes on the rynox hawk bag.
Already using the Rynox air gt and its a wonderful jacket for the Indian summers.

Rev limitation on an NS/AS ? I SERIOUSLY DO NOT like the ring of that. But i agree within limited revs and not redlining like i did a few times during my run this should be pretty much doable.

Like xplod566 mentioned you should be able to do it with limited revs. However, if you do plan to push the bike I would suggest you roll with 7100 instead of 5100.

A 40 L duffle - you should be able to get it fixed with a netting or bungee. Although if you could get a saddle, a viaterra claw or maybe even regular saddles they should work awesome.

I guess he meant rev limiter and the *limited* was a typo.

Don't worry about stressing it.this bike has a gem of an engine and there is no way you can damage it.this is a very versatile engine.you can drive at 100-110 all day long and this bike wont even sweat, that much I can guarantee you.its a lovely sweet engine.other than that just get you chains etc etc checked ones at a trustable local shop.fill nitrogen and keep the pressure as 26-30(not 32 as it will provide a better grip.anything above 30 always makes fishtail when hard breaking, also 40kgs saddle bag is good).
However get these checked 3 days prior to going as in case there is some issues you can rectify on those 3 days.
Waiting for the travelogue impatiently [emoji6]

Thanx all you guys for the support and all the help I have had till date. I have been glued to this forum from the day I started considering to buy this bike till today that I have covered 4000kms in 60 days of possessing this mean machine.
I Will be riding on the 20th of march so still got a lot if time to prepare.
The roads are pretty much straight highways and no as such scenic beauty but will do my best to get some shots on the way.
Hopefuly my parents wont freak out when they get to know i am planning to cover this distance in one go.😝

Saw this video a few weeks back. It wont be enough though. Me being the only child makes them even more strict. Dont want to bashed and thrashed and pulverized psychologically by my parents when I arrrive home with the bike😜. This will be the biggest task in my prepartion chart for this journey.

Is it normal...? Read in the manual that the Coolant has to be changed at 10k kms...

And also the radiator and fan now starts 4-5 times in the same journey.. Office to home.. And Home to office previously it ised to start just 2 - 3 times.. 14kms one side..

Please Help.. Thanks in advance

Fan will kick in if you go in stop and go traffic for say half an hour. It should not start for normal ride. I go daily 10 km office ride, high speed without fan. Only when it is too hot it will kick in. When it is running you should feel the heat dissipate under your thigh.
For coolant will change it/top up in 4500 kms service.
