Hello fellow riders, have anyone faced heavy vibrations on handlebars and footpegs that you could not ride more than 20 mins continuously.
Mine was completed 18k kms and it's about 16 months old, around 9.5k kms there was tappet noise issue and it was cleared after hours of arguments with SVC(khivraj, Anna salai) and they agreed to work on it, that time was facing vibrations and I was able to manage that, after the valve clearance the bike was brand new in performance wise and engine refinement. I was so high about the bike and rode it like a maniac, with motul 7100 it was a beast on highways. Felt awesome about hamara bajaj.
But the happiness doesn't last long and the vibes started to creep in around 14k kms, I was returning to Chennai (430 kms) and all of a sudden it started vibrating when reaching home, went to SVC and asked them about the vibes and they didn't accept that it was due to valve clearance, left the bike for paid service and asked to do valve clearance, while taking delivery they didn't mentioned in the worksheet, irritated and ask them about it, they asked me to come back another day, due to work I was unable to find another day and lived with vibes.
At 17.5k was planning on a trip to hometown, gave the bike to valve adjustment at Jai Bajaj, they done it and now it vibes more on handlebars that I was on agony throughout my ride to hometown. I m not sure the SVC guy cleared the valves as per manual but the tappet noise was gone and the refinement is back, but the vibrations are more than ever, they even tightened the engine frame and adjusted the cone set of handlebar, now where should I find a way to reduce the vibration, it's just constant on all RPM all-over the bike not just handlebar and footpegs,
If any Chennai guys here could guide me to a good NS/AS mechanic in Chennai would be helpful.

I just want to know whether my riding makes the engine loose its valves, will shift at RPM 4k for 1,2,3 and 7k for 4,5,6, will do constant 115+ on highways and occasionally 130+ for 10-15 minutes.

Advices are much appreciated coz I m at pain on hand and heart.

As per the below link the valves should be adjusted every 5k kms due to the SOHC setup.

These vibrations are a pain, i have clocked 14k and my Beasty is 13 months old. I use 5100 and change it every 2.5k. I changed the T, the ball racer, even had the forks filled with Motul 20k oil with new sets of tyres. I still face the problems with vibrations, they are so strong that my palm on the accelerator goes numb after 20 mins of continuous riding. I have had the Air filter changed at 13k, tge spark plugs are new at 10k, the valves are checked for clearance at 11k still the problem persists. The mileage has been constant at 33.5kmpl (average) after monitoring with fill-ups via App.
Just can't figure out the problem, now there is a new problem, the front seems to be heavy and ride seems to stick to one side when I am taking slow hard turns, it becomes difficult to straighten up although, the high speed ride is stable. At some instances the rear seems to fishtail during straight drags and it is damn scary.
Can someone help me find the issue?

Lucky. I've done 15k. Rear shocks gone, chain sprocket gone, disc replaced a few times. That's it. No issues with vibes. Vibes are bearable. Tried asking SVC guy to check the tappet clearance. He was like not required. Didn't wanna push him to do something he was not interested in or knew nothing about

man you have replace half the parts, still you facing the issue, its about time we ditch SVC and find a local mechanic, about the valve clearence, i was with the svc guy when he adjusted but i was not there the last time, i doubt he didn't paid enough attention on the valves, i couldn't find any feeler gauge around the service bay when it was done, i dont know they only give enough response within our warranty period, after that they think its our problem always,

I wonder how dominar might last long with that SOHC setup with that much power

now i m getting around 35 kmpl on highways, everything other than the vibration is perfect about my bike, i thought the eurogirps are the reason for the rear fishtailing but even after replacing the tyres to MRF Masseter i find the fishtailing on 5th gear at 8k+ RPM

For the front heavy, the connection nut needs to be checked on the handlebar for any foul play

I had a close call today. Was on my way to Palghar. My friend suddenly took a right ahead of me. Progressive braking.... Wasn't stopping. Then squeezed both the brakes. Kissed his bike. Now by bike used to stop without needing to squeeze hard. Was doing 70. Recently changed my brake pads. I think it's not the original ones. Would that make such a difference? Scared?

One thing for sure, these spares we use from Bajaj are made of poor quality, try using the KTM pads, shud work better. I used the OEMs but, had no confidence, switched to KTM, much better now.

I use a local mechanic bro, it is the wear and tear which bothers me plus, it is very difficult to find a good mechanic. Mine though does his work diligently but, they lack skills. The ones with skills are too busy with high end bikes so lack detailing finishing.

Guys how do you remove the spark plug. I tried using this. It wouldn't turn. Anyone done it themselves, please help.

Maybe a stupid question. Where's the third spark plug? I found 1 on the right, 1 on the left

The quality of this tool is not good so it doesn't holds the grip firm on the plug body. The design would be same but made of better metal. Try with that and it will come off with ease.

how difficult is it to replace the airfilter on the as 200 , from what i checked on line it involves removal of the tank ?
also does the airfilter need to be oiled like sponge filters ?

Have you tried removing the air filter? My mechanic soaks the oil filter. Don't know if it's required though
