I was following his videos just for the sake that he was riding as200 and gave a lot of good pointers.. about the bike. Getting bored and getting fed up has a big difference in it. Going from 200cc to 250 cc for me is not an upgrade. 300cc or higher would have been a good plus upgrade. I have the dominor on my wishlist and follow owners thread here on xbhp to check the reviews and feedback. It is still the most value for money bike under 2lakhs. Maybe in a couple of years switch to it if it still is alive by then.

Upto to the rider. They're completely different machines. AS200 has a good top end while FZ shines in the low end. FZ is just about faster from 0-120kmph. Maybe he wanted something which is simpler and has a good low end.

After his video about the "safety of MT helmets", I stopped watching his videos.

One of my close rider friend owned and RE, use to complain hell lot about it but, he rode it for 1.10lakh kilometers on it. 5'4" he practically is one of the very few riders I respect. Last year he went downhill on his RE for about 31 kilometers with the engine turned off and in neutral. He wasn't very happy with the power output and the RE characteristics but, he gave me his bike for major overhaul for this upcoming trip. Being a good friend, I sold his iron lady, made him buy the dominar. Lol! Its been two months and he has gone crazy the way she moves, although he says its not flickable he has nothing to complain about.
Point is, its a very good motorcycle in that amount, given the new insurance mandate, its still under 2l mark.
I did followed Infoclone just because he use to ride AS200, unfollow the day he bought FZ250. I just did not understand why and respect his personal preference. For me, my Beasty is precious, its like a rare bike, got the stickers and branding removed, people ogle at it when its parked in public, ask me questions what bike is this and all. I love the amount of admiration it gets. I just dont have the reason to let go of it. I ain't selling her, may get another one but, ahe stays. Gonna do some upgrade experiments with her and make her a real Adventure Tourer of my own.

Hello again. My AS200 is leaking oil from rear break master cylinder, is there any way we can repair it or it should be completely replaced.

Don't even try to service it or you will end up with the rear wheel locked while riding. It can be catastrophic, have it changed, Rs.670 for it. Use DOT 4 Break Oil, have the pressure properly built, it takes time and a lot of effort. Ride it and check it if its working properly then, ride again and test it. Be double sure the break is engaging as it suppose to. The cylinder will leak a little bit oil at first then it will fine.

A mechanic who listens to your issue, responds with a solution, has worked on 200cc engines or higher, has the patience and ability to identify a problem and advices correctly is what you need. A glorified mechanic will always tell you, everything is fine and this happens.
Check for spare parts prices by 99rpm.com and ask him which engine oil he recommends, if he says anything else apart from Motul 5100 15w50 or 7100 20w50, he ain't the mechanic you are looking for.

Had a bad fall today. Front wheel locked up in panic breaking. I have run down my mrf tyre set for 25k kms. Rear one is bald but front thread looks fine still the front is slipping even with light breaking. Cant figure out why? Could it be because rubber has gotten hard or something. When i went down i was barely 40kmph and the front locked up when i braked. What would be a good tyre set for front and rear if i wana go with 140 rear ? I have plans for laddak coming year so soft compounds are out of the list. Mrf gave me the bruises today so im left with Michelin's which will burn a hole in the pocket atleast for 10k bucks. Any thoughts?

                      Damage to bike..
Bent crash guard which i intend to change and not get it straightened because i doubt it wont be able to take a second fall.
                      Broken indicator easily available.
Handlebars weight scratched badly painted with powder paint.
Now comes the fairing.. small but very prominent scuff on the tip of the fairing near front indicator which looks real eye sore and i intend to fix it. Will the entire tank fibre be replaced or just a small section of this part.
I saw a website 99rmp.com were eaxh and every part of the fairing is sold should I buy it? I didn't know that it was detachable.
Im sure service centers will only change the entire fibre faring and that too will take weeks even months as they will have to order this up.Click image for larger version

99rpm site is reliable... it’s just they don’t stock up parts... but they will arrange and courier it to you. On the site they show nice drawing of each parts for better understanding to clear the confusions if any.

I still get asked what bike it is. Sometimes I'm just shocked as how people still don't know that it's a Pulsar after all these years.

I can barely keep 110 on the highway with engine just roaring heavily. There is no change in tacho reading bike does 100 at 7000 rpm. The chain set is badly worn out so its makes a very rough noise even after service and lubrication. The tappets were recently adjusted so no clicking sounds or any cold start or overheating issue.
Can't figure out the problem. Mechainc says worn out chainset and partially worn out clutch plates are to blame for reduced top end speed. Chain set replacement is due but clutch plates??? Could they be an issue?

I've got a similar issue. My bike either has a top speed of 96kmph or anything above 130kmph.

The tacho freezes at 7-8k rpm on 96kmph and stays there. Then suddenly it'll pull. Once it pulls beyond 96 it'll just keep going. If I declutch and rev again it starts pulling. My mechanic said it's the clutch. The clutch is getting stuck. Is he correct?

Finaly decided to change tyres. And I am so confused there are way to many options and combinations to go for. I am going for an upsize for the rear and stock for front
                                Please suggest
Mrf masseter 140/70 r17 for 4000rs which has a questionable life as there are no reviews about this tyre anywere as to how long will they last. For me I need tyres that will atleast go for 15k kms
Michelin pilot street radial for 6000rs which some say have gone past 30k kms.

I have no clue what to go for front tyres. Need help deciding.
