    1. around the headlight. = ₹1300
    2. just below the headlight on left = ₹1200
    3. just below the headlight on right = ₹1200
    4. at the bottom on the left = ₹1100
    5. at the bottom on the right=₹1100

So now for a full crash the cost will be ₹5900, which I think is not bad at all. Secondly, I think in normal accidents its highly unlikely that all 5 will get damaged together. What do you think?

P.S. - The cost is for GP edition, for black or white it may be less but the service guys were not sure about it.

Thanks for the update bhai...was necessary because our sf is missing a crash guard
Now as far as my idea goes i think in case of a bike tipping nothing will happen
But in case of a 40 50 crash most probably the left side fairing of the bottom part will get scrapped and the headlight fairing will break because it has a bulge outwards
So assuming i think in case of a moderate crash it will burn a hole of 2.5 k in your pocket (1300+1100)
It is highly unlikely that they will break together
And i think the price is reasonable too
Dont know for sure but gixxerians will also can try their luck to buy spares and fit on their gixxer
Though i would have preferred a crash guard because it DOES SAVES your LEGS and fairings
I know even if its possible it will ruin the look but its better to be safe than to look good
    What do you think?

No yaar, I think you need to be really lucky to find a crash guard which would not spoil the looks of Gixxer SF. IMHO getting gixxer sf the way it is, including the looks, engine, fuel economy and quality of plastic and parts, Suzuki has done a great job and I would not like to spoil it all by putting an out of place crash guard. Lets see if we get something that can do justice to the looks soon

By the way, just came back from office in light rain, a 15 KM ride at midnight with a few speeding cars here and there. And trust me, it was a superb ride, never felt any lack of power while overtaking those speeding cars. True love

Was the most pathetic day of my life
Got a call from svc and they said my bike is ready to be taken home today itself
But damn i was struck by fever and i don't have no one to send him to acquire the bike as my dad was in office

I got it the same day. I just went to the showroom on 10th June, took a test ride and brought it home. They had 2 available in black, one was due to be given to someone and other one as the fate had it, for me.

That's really bad luck buddy!! But since you have already booked the bike, don't they give you any window of say 1-2 days for taking the delivery?
It happened with me as well when I booked my bike. The showroom guys delayed it by a week, saying that the delivery truck broke down in a different state. And the next week when the bike arrived in the showroom, I could not go to the showroom to take my bike for a week due to some urgent office work. But they kept the bike for me for 1 more week.

To all those guys waiting for the vehicle...cheer up. I was given a waiting period of 50 days and bike was delivered in 40, here in SMK Suzuki Chennai. Today I heard that it's a 30 day waiting period as told by SMK so I'm sure u will get it before that.

Oknhere is my first review...or rather first service review.
Took delivery on 25th June and right when I first rode it I can feel the smoothness of the engine, the gear shifting and the bike was so stable...this could be because I leart riding a month before on a Apache.
Since the SVC delivers the vehicle with only 1/2 ltr petrol I went directly to shell nearby and got 9lts above the reserve. Daily ride is from home-office-home about 15kms, and then took it to a slightly long ride(porur - SSN college and back) fuel indicator started blinking only after I hit 470 and I still didn't hit reserve
Today I went for first service @731 kms on trip meter. I asked to change the RVM since its unusable in traffic, but the SVC guy told me that it will spoil the look, just then a guy next to me who had a naked gixxer said even his handlebar RVMs sometimes give trouble.....hmmm so I left the Stock RVMs as it is. I specifically asked for chain clean/lube and it costed me a extra 150. The SVC guy told me that the delivery will be the next day, I said OK n left(11am) and they call me at 3pm saying that the bike is ready
The total bill is 570, here is the break up
                            Oil -300
                            Oil filter -40
                            Consumables - 60
                            Chain lubrication - 150
This is at SMK porur Chennai.
After I took the bike from SVC I came to office and the noticed the indicator buzzer is not sounding and the idle rpm is about 2k....
They called me asking if everything is OK, I told them about the problems above....they asked me to come back...which I said I will the next day.
But I just came back from office and now the indicator buzzer is sounding as normal and the idle rpm is just about 1.5k, so I think it's normal....but still will be watchful for the next few days and see.
If u guys have any questions let me know...I will try to answer as much as I can.
