its subjective... i would always prefer faired bike above naked ones just because the kind of stability they provide against wind blast at high speed... which in turn increases the mileage as well... and don't forget the kind of looks it provides...

        Frankly speaking
Its like that guy who likes to go the beach bare bodied and one with an Hawaiian shirt
People will tell you about higher speed by 3-4+ kmph
(Really ? What are you going to do with that ? Be rossi in the quater mile strech?)
        Better stability at 100 plus
        (Buy a davidson)
        But ask yourself
When did you made 3 digits?
Fellows like me are generally into commuting and city riding
You wont go that much ridiculous fast in these areas
I personally have never gone that fast because not of fear that i may crash because i prefer myself not to be rash
I want to return home for dinner
no matter how good a driver you are and if your mistake or not
Something at that speed is purely unforgiving and no matter its a full faired or a tank or your wearing full safety or not you will not walk out of it unharmed
Now a days it has became like man i have done 100 on a 100 cc bike
(Really wheres the fun in that
Can you do that on a bicycle?)
Biking is not about going fast
Its the oil that is doing its job not you
So in a nutshell the fairing wont help you in a normal day but it may when nature calls you and you are 20 kilometers from the nearest petrol pump
Yes one thing it will help you that it will grab a lot eyeballs because not everyone see everyday a bike that looks like a supersport
And as for is 10 k worth it or not
Are you salman khan?or salman khan wearing a Hawaiian shirt?
        Ask yourself
I prefer to be the Hawaiian shirt
Purely subjective depends upon ones taste
(These word's should be taken light heartedly not wanted to hurt someone
I know who goes to long trips need that kind of speed and stability but its from a general guys perspective)
But please i urge all to ride safe
Not fast(and if you do give credit to the shell)
        Sorry for the long post

You are right dude... but as i said n u too mentioned... its subjective... first of all we are talking about performance 150 motorcycle... so people buying this bike will revv it hard and hit speed as much as high possible... not in city but at least on highways... so for those people ... fairing does provide some resistance to wind blast and also adds 5-10 percent stability and safety... and people who want to keep this bike around 70-80 kmph should obviously go for the naked one... remember that extra fairing means extra maintenance as well... so choose wisely...

Seems like production has been increased considerably!

Any idea about the waiting period in Bangalore, anyone? I am into my day 16 of 60 which they quoted. Want to know if I could bug them for it, or go and get it faster from another dealer in Bangalore!

                                Hi Raslam,

Where did u book your bike?
At Apple auto suzuki dealership in BTM layout they told me waiting period was max 10 days for any colour. I had been to them 10 days ago. Although I haven't booked with them yet.
