Forget interval difference, they didn't even specify the cost of the oil change in the prepaid contract. And what is the spare part which costs ₹302? The cleaning cloth they use?

Unless it's in writing with detailed information, don't sign any annual looting contract.

In this AMC cost they are changing the oil after 8000 kms, I think this is a very good option as yearly service cost would be around 10 to 11k which is very nominal. So now Benelli is much cheaper to maintain than competition.

What about the warranty or extended warranty? How does that fit in with the AMC?

I had the same question ... and What is the km expected for the oil change during AMC ? no clarity on that either !

No visibility of the same. If the routine is followed, warranty should be the same... 4 Years. I don't think there would be any effect here.

Asked for the details of AMC package at Delhi service center, people their had no clue that something like AMC package exits.
They told me if something like this was gonna start from 1st may they would know.
I don't understand they all are benelli service center and would be following same guidelines. So, why is one service center is saying something and other different.

Yesterday had a word with Chennai SVC. They are telling the company is introducing the AMC in phased manner. In Bangalore its done, may come to Chennai by next week. They said that its in final phase of implementation.

I checked out the three package service plan which I personally feel is great as owner ends up saving 50% ( With six service package, one gets to save around 37% annually ), and oil change within AMC is not required for every service and will be done in alternate service. Spares include chain lubrication and coolant top up. AMC excludes other wear and tear spares. Major relief is in labor charge and oil change interval. This is a good deal. In fact bloody good deal.

To add to above, if Benelli can work things out w.r.t localizing procurement of certain parts like rear brake pads and chain sprocket (which are super expensive ), then Benelli will be right at the top of 300 CC and 600 CC segments.

Finally, another big change after chain sprocket during 7th service.

New set of Tyre.

Pirelli Angel ST replaced with Metzeler M7RR. The stock ones lasted for 25125 Km

Front and rear, together cost: Rs. 25479

Also changed front brake pads. The stock ones lasted for 25125 Km. Cost: 1170 for two pads.

Hey Guys,
So, I went to the SVC and got the details for the AMC for my bike. I asked some questions and cleared some doubts.

Two AMC options available - 1Year (3 Services at 4000kms each or 4 Months, which ever is earlier) or 2Years (6 Services at 4000kms each or 4 Months, which ever is earlier)
AMC is applicable only at the service center you buy it from.
The cost includes engine oil, which would be replaced every 8000kms, & spares which are indicated in the service interval schedule. eg. Air Filters, Spark Plugs, Oil Filter, Brake Fluid, Coolant, Chain Lube etc.
Cost does not include wear and tear items. Eg. Brake Pads, Chain Sprocket, Cables etc.

Savings - YES

You are no longer changing oil every 4000kms or 4 Months, so that's a savings of Rs. 2400 x 2 straight away for a yearly plan of 3 services.
Apart from that the service charges have dropped in AMC plan which further reduces the costing.

I am attaching how the invoice (not mine) looks, which lists out what all is included in the AMC.

Also attaching the 1 Year & 2 Year plans. However, note that this plan is as per my bike's milage, so costing will slightly differ depending on what milage your bike's at.

ONE YEAR PLAN

TWO YEAR PLAN - 2 SHEETS - ALSO don't get confused by the order of service intervals in this file.

As, someone already mentioned, the AMC Scheme is being rolled out in a phased manner across all cities. So, keep in touch with your SVC. It will be there soon.
This does bring down the over all costing considerably.

First of all, it's great work from u guys in keeping this thread alive and giving valuable info abt the bike.
It's good to hear abt this amc package but Wondering how come a company follow different policies for different packages. Why isn't SVC not following one protocol for a given bike service as per manufacturer?
