Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
I switched to michelin and after switching the first riding was different.. I feel the bike tires take a gud hold on the road and it feels little hard to turn the handle bars as the tyre sits firmly on the road..Originally posted by pulsarcraz View PostThanks for the link. I'll update once I get hold of these. Right now waiting for the registration number to come.

Thanks for the update Praveen. Could you also let us know what is the procedure to check the engine oil level. I just bought it, and could not possibly see the oil in the Engile Oil Level Check Window.Originally posted by praveen26 View PostI switched to michelin and after switching the first riding was different.. This can be viewed both positively and negatively.Originally posted by praveen26 View PostI switched to michelin and after switching the first riding was different.. Positive - The tires are more grippy so less chance of sliding.
Negative - If it is correct as you said - the maneuverability will be lesser than before (not much of compromise). But this should go away once you put some miles on those tires.
Either way - in rainy Indian road condition - you should go for the safety first as STUBBORN YAMAHA (don't know what other words I could have used) doesn't offer ABS even as an option!!
Get more grippy tire as you can. Or stick with those stock MRFs if you want some training and experience on power slides!

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
It is clearly mentioned in the users manual. Anyways the right procedure is hold your bike upright, turn it on and warm the engine up for around 2 minutes. Now turn off the engine and let the oil settle down(Takes around 2 mins). Now hold the bike upright and check the oil level.Originally posted by pulsarcraz View PostCould you also let us know what is the procedure to check the engine oil level. Do you have any links for the recall? Is it something serious?Originally posted by fusioncoast View PostHi i had enquired about the world wide recall issue at yahama's call center in India

Edit: Never mind I got the links. Thanks for the headsup though!Last edited by pulsarcraz; 06-29-2016, 08:30 PM.

Only few bikes are affected but they are recalling almost all bikes because of preventive measures although we still haven't got any call/mail officially from Yamaha.Originally posted by dineshaugustin View PostThough yamaha recalled almost all R3 in India...it seems only few been affected...!!!
