Committed was 15 days(which is Feb 23)

Grab rails; you can order from Aliexpress(try to search for R25/R3). Installation and experience has been shared earlier in this thread by owners. May also check this:

The letter 'K' somewhere in the middle denotes the year of manufacture. Here K = 2019.

Mine is 'J' = 2018.

I don't think VIN shows month of manufacture. Only year of manufacture.

When did you get the motorcycle ?

For Yamaha motorcycles:
Position of the code for YEAR of manufacture in the chassis number
10th digit from the left

Position of the code for MONTH of manufacture in the chassis number
9th digit from the left
Check attached

The BS6 launch for R3 is not confirmed yet.... speculations suggest end of 2020 or early 2021.

BS6 model may have aggressive riding stance (a little bit), if that is not a problem.

Pricing would be definitely higher than the BS4 model.

Its your call to decide.

I don't think the BS6 R3 will even be available till early 2021. And the ex-showroom price will be close to 4 L for sure.

Firstly thanks to everyone for sharing their experiences in this thread. This helped me a lot to narrow down on R3.

I took the delivery today in Delhi.

Got a discount of 25k. I liked the way sales rep handled the entire booking with transparency and every effort made by him to comply to my demands of changing the coolant and engine oil. Also parking the bike in complete isolation in basement with 0 kms on odometer. Bike landed at showroom, 9th day after booking.However the entire delivery process was nothing to write about. Not even a basic key handover or any cover unwrap.

I am getting back to bikes after a gap of 4 years. My last was Duke 200. Couple of scooties during these 4 yrs. As soon as i clocked first 20 kms i was all smiles and realized this journey with R3 is going to be fun.
