Yes, if you had to lean forward on v2, r15s isn't going to be any different .

I can also confirm 41+kmpl mileage. pretty good considering the run-in period. Downshifts are a bit rough after the first service though......

Yes. But unless you don't have any back pain, you will quickly get used to it.

Then go for a motorcycle that has an upright sitting position, other pains can be bearable but back and neck pains are worst. You can try CBR150R or Apache 180 :for that thrill:, Dukes, etc. Apache 200 will be releasing on first quarter of next year.

Wouldn't mind the Pulsar RS200 too!

Are you strictly looking for a Faired bike only? Or are you open to nakeds as well?

First preference would go to a faired one...

RS200, Gixxer SF and CBR 150R are your only options

No! But the vibrations that bike produces are intense...

Yes, I think the RS200 is a winner amongst the rest, but for its weight!

Its just been a week and have already munched 700 + kms. The first 500 kms was sheer agony keeping it below the boil at <5k RPM and varying the speed constantly. Opened her up after 500k upto 7k rpms and she showed glimpses of her true colours. Just like what I had done with my K10 while running her in, I have been feeding my R15 a diet of highways (liberal doses), city traffic and some ghats (read Nandi hills) thrown in for good measure.

                        Initial impressions

                        Pros
A gem of an engine, smooth as silk when kept on the boil
Single seat and the wife approves
Gear shifts have generally been smooth so far
                        That sweet handling deltabox chassis
                        Potent brakes
That horn! Vehicles in front are led to believe that something big is bearing down upon them

                        Cons
Unhappy at low revs (something which will open up as the engine puts in more miles)
Indicators which are not self cancelling
                        Crappy head lamps

More after the first service, any recommendations of Bangalore SVC? I got it from Bangalore Wheels but live in Indiranagar. How is Panache SVC?

Hey guys, any idea on how to re-glue the tank pad? It just refuses to stick at edges . Thinking about using silicone glue.

My suggestion is to not to use any kind of glue that can damage the paint.

Done with the first service today after clocking almost 900 kms in a week Wanted to get the 1st service out of the way before the New Year early weekend hits.

Stuck to mineral oil after asking for SS and being told that 15w50 SS has been discontinued and the options now are mineral and FS only. A litre of Yamalube Optima 10W40 was poured into her heart Will probably switch to FS after 5k

Got it done at Bangalore wheels, was charged Rs 780 including oil. Expected chain lubing to be included in the free thingy but it wasnt

The gear shifts have become noticeably smoother.
