Re: Royal Enfield Himalayan
Go Green Motors Gachibowli? Did you inquire with them detailedly as to the updates on the motorcycle, and FI and ABS. I know it's a hard to squeeze anything out of the RE folks, but any kind of inputs regarding the improvements, upgrades to the motorcycle from their side, let us know if you get any informationOriginally posted by sg666 View PostJust got a call from the dealer I had booked the Himalayan from. He asked if I'm ready to take the bike. On asking when, he said they'll be starting delivery by 17th of this month. This is Hyderabad btw.
Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
THE END

Me too waiting for any updates on the BSIV version. Most likely it seems just addition of FI without any other changes.Originally posted by B7ACKTHORN View PostGo Green Motors Gachibowli? When they had already some changes in hand to do for rectifications, probably they should use this timeline (BSIV), for a revised Himalayan, adding in some features and improving the old issues. Irrespective to quality issues, almost everyone complained about less power, FI induction along with some re-tuning of engine for 5-7 bhp more could have been used to reintroduce a new interest in market for Himalayan.
Being tight lipped when something new is anticipated in market is good, but being tight lipped when market already has some persistent negative vibes about your product will only repel new buyers.

Re: Royal Enfield Himalayan
Hello from the Philippines!
My name is Rem and is a new owner of the REH. I think this is the first time that Royal Enfield released the Himalayan outside India.
Last Saturday, May 13 our Himalayan was delivered and distributed to new owners in the Philippines.
Our version is still the carburated version but with minor improvements like the auto headlight on and a side stand alarm. It also came with the oil cooler cover. One thing they removed from the first gen to our version is the hazard switch. The mode button is just there to change the clock.
We hope that all the problems from the first generation have been addressed by RE since we only have one distributor here and parts will take time to arrive if ever (knocks on wood) problem arises.
This is my first Royal Enfield and I hope I enjoy the RE experience.
Here's my REH in its natural playground.

Re: Royal Enfield Himalayan
I just called my dealer. He says delivery very much possible by the month-end. I think it's all speculations, and things will remain this way till we see the first delivery happening.Originally posted by kris989 View PostOk so I called them this time. Great news. No delivery this month. Awesome.

Re: Royal Enfield Himalayan
I hope it does. But I contacted the ASM personally. He still couldn't tell me when. But was sure not this month. I think it might be different in your state. Please do update if anything positive happens.Originally posted by sg666 View PostI just called my dealer. He says delivery very much possible by the month-end.
