But if your bike starts without choke even in cold condition then your are lucky to get one.
after 3 days of stop & start of the bike... i have now given it to the TVS service centre for checkup...
in the initial tests conducted, they say water might have gone inside the petrol tank... also they observed that the bike is pumping petrol upwards thus creating air inside the petrol tank.... so they into cleaning carburetor etc... will collect it next day and will let you all know eith any updates.
    feeling upset😳😢

Do you use choke to start bike in morning or say after 5-6 hours of engine off ?
In owner booklet it is suggested to use choke every time starting the cold engine.

I thought of starting without choke once and it did not start, though my 11 years old activa starts some time without choke .

Is it okay to start with choke every morning .

      I am already considering AS200..

got the bike... cleaned carburetor, filter and petrol tank... removed all 6 ltrs of petrol.... in the process I lost few litres of it but it's fine... bike started working.
it seems it happened due to water mixing with petrol... may be rain water or from the petrol pump.
I was on the verge of telling them ti get the bike replacement but luckily it worked.. hence i am thankful to the TVS mechanic.
using double parking cover to avoid water seepage during rains.

That's great that it got sorted. Be careful while filling petrol, someone filled petrol in my diesel car once. And then they put that petrol mixed with diesel back into the storage tank.

glad that u got back ur bike.

But the water should not enter at any case. try to notice again when u wash ur bike.

if water entered by accident then fine. but if it is due to design then u need to look into it.

              Congrats. Red looks stunning.

As they say, There is no replacement for Displacement.

No point in comparing with lower cc bikes even if they produce similar output. The riding feel will be much different.

Hi All RTR 200 4v owners,

What is the comfortable cruising speed of this bike in the highways for a prolonged period of time say 3 to 4 hours.

                Thanks,

You asking RTR owners, obviously you would be knowing the answer . I would prefer AS200 or Avenger for cruising in good speed. I have done long trip in AS200, speed between 80-100 km/hr for 5hrs, its really a good bike for that price. Take TD and let us know.

                    Thanks man!
This is the exact reason why I booked RTR200 few days back, same Red color. Hoping my ABS comes soon.

                      Booking:
Red and white were available with the dealer, white was already booked and Red was available for immediate delivery, booked it on 21-6-16 evening and took delivery on 23-6-16.For some reason the sales team was not interested in selling the bike that was readily available. Their supervisor had to intervene and booking was accepted. Would have waited for ABS if there was some clarity on the waiting period. None of the dealers had any clue of timelines for color/ABS/pirilli tyres.

                      .
Oh! Red is awesome. I have booked Red and Im waiting for ABS. Dont know when they will launch ABS.

Showing as ABS as feature we get to see this image on TVS website. Where's that prominent ABS ring? Can any apache 180 abs owner can confirm how it looks?

Am getting to this, as a sales guy told me that this has already got ABS. Now I know there's a indicator for the same. When I asked him why there's no sticker of ABS on the bike. He was clueless. But he was saying it already has abs sensor. Also added when you can get it in carb 180 apache why not in this! Any inputs on this?

Somewhere is this thread I have read that "ABS is plug and play". Even he had noted that ABS indicator and other things where we can add ABS if required.

Yes even I have read it. But dealer is of opinion that the current carb 200 is equipped already with dual channel abs as they are advertising it. If it was plug and play then they would have got some info from company.

Any senior guys can throw some light on this?

Wait a sec. Are you guys saying that you have seen apaches sold by dealerships which have the abs ring sensors, two cables running to the wheels etc or are you just referring to the specs on the tvs website.

If the abs variant is indeed out then it's good news for apache fans who are conscious of the advantage of abs.
