    I have 2 more questions,
    1. Sometimes engine goes off in 2nd gear
    2. I hear knocking sound in 3rd gear at 15kmph speed, i had to bring down to 2nd gear. But on the other hand engine handles 30-35kmph speed at 5th gear which is pretty impressive
Knocking noises and excess engine heat will go after run-in. But avoid riding at very low speeds on high gears. This engine feels stress free in the midrange. Maintain the right rpm for all gears to get the best out of the engine and to reduce carbon deposits.

About oil grades let’s go a bit technical...
Grade of oil is not just about long distance ride or heat handling. It’s also about the mass of the components and clearance between the components. 50grade cannot flow as good as 30 grade oil in tight spaces due to higher oil film thickness which leads to oil burning and deposits especially at high engine speeds. And also lower viscosity leads to better heat dissipation than the higher one. The cooling system is designed enough to manage the temperature with 30grade oil.

Higher viscosity of the oil helps maintain better film thickness at high temperatures but increases viscous resistance between components which leads to reduced acceleration and smoothness. Even most of the newer generation car engines are now using 30grade oils.

In my experience i used to ride my bike for around 300kms every weekend on highways for the past year. I used to ride above 100kmph all the time and I never found any heating issue with 5w30. In 40 grade I felt a mild difference in reduced acceleration and top speed. Wait till 2500 kms to get your engine completely settled.

    Happy riding...

Thanks. but bike shown in the picture is 160. Will this fit for 200? I have also checked with svc and they said it won't fit.

Footrest is available for rtr 200 when I checked with svc in my area. I am planning to install it during my next service. You should check with different svc.

I am planning to buy RTR 200 4v race edition 2.0 abs version(1st bike). I am from Patna, bihar, here abs version of the bike is not available for now. I need to buy it soon so should i go with the standard version?
Can standard version apache be upgraded to abs version later?
I have mainly driven honda shine(occasionally) and once or twice pulsar 220f. my height is 5'7 and about 60 kg.
I need it for daily commuting of about 20kms solo and occasionally with mother at pillion seat (once or twice in month short ride).
As a beginner i had faced some issues earlier, when riding in offroad condition with pillion i was not able to save my bike from toppling(2-3 times) while stopping(2yr before, i was lot leaner then), while able to control my bike well enough while driving. should i reconsider my option to include a lighter bike or it will be fine enough

No. We can't retrofit ABS into STD model. Please wait if ABS is very important for you.

My Height and weight is similar to you (5.8 and 54 kg). I too had this handling problems during initial stages with my old bike (pulsar 150). Now i can easily control apache 200 without any issues. Offroad conditions are tricky even for experienced drivers. You will learn as time goes. You can stick to apache (Grip and handling is extremely good on this bike).

Usually retrofitting an ABS unit into a non-ABS can be done, it isn't rocket science. It requires Vitamin M and the main reason most don't do it is because the number of parts that are required to be replaced and what not. Everything has to be done perfectly, including the fitment of the wiring, routing, bolts, cables, bushings, dampers, etc etc it requires THOROUGH knowledge to fit exactly as a factory finished bike which easier said than done. Though you can do it if you're willing to shell out more, eventually the money you pay for a retro-fit would be 2x costlier than a factory fitted ABS bike. Secondly, the old parts scavenged would be sold at scrap rates or even less which is another dilemma.

If you intend to purchase an ABS one, sell the current one, and get one. Though slipper clutch can be retrofitted on older 200s that were without slipper clutch.

                            Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
                            The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Quite a detailed answer and yes bro I do agree that as of now it might not be worth it to do retro fitting, but after April 2019 since there will be mass production of these ABS units and also the A.S.S will be trained to deal with it's issues, won't retro fitting be possible then?

Retro fitting is possible even today, but how well you're okay with the bike's wiring everything being removed but how well they're installed to perfection is what matters. As long as you're okay with that and your okay enough to shell out more, then what's stopping you.

                                Cheers!
