Have you checked on the ladies handle?
I too want one, But SVC saying not possible for RTR 200.
I have seen ladies handle being welded into the grab rail in Hornet.

        1. Quality is very cheap, i mean very very cheap. All fiber panels are paper thin which screams that the bike is not meant to last long. example: Chain cover, Rear tyre hugger, Plastic near the meter, Side mirror metal sticks, side indicator switch. Small sized full digital meter of apache is also less expensive than a partial analog one (of 200NS), so that's also a cost cutting measure.
Hi, even I felt the plastic near meter to be very cheap and flimsy. Same goes for rear tyre hugger (which I've removed btw) but apart from couple of flimsy looking parts here and there, i feel the overall build is better than rc200. The quality is more apparent when you start riding, rc200 has too much vibes, rattling and weird noises. Apache just feels like it's built to last and won't break down anywhere. It's the same feeling with yamaha fz. I don't have much experience with NS but since they both come out of bajaj factory, I guess it's NS built is similar to RC or even inferior. (considering the premium ness of the Ktm) This might be the reason why all the reviewers feel apache has better build than NS. Not trying to bash any brands or show fanboism, just trying to understand how the word "build quality" is defined.

Also apache's digital meter being cheaper than NS' is a good thing right? I mean you're getting such a beautiful looking meter loaded with information and that's cheaper than NS' very average console. I expected Apache's console to cost almost close to ktm's. If it's cheaper than pulsar's it's a good news for me.

I accept your view. I felt the build quality is better than Fz, Hornet, Avenger 220. Which are the bikes I've used. Not sure about NS200 though. Never felt it.
Hornet was the most horrible one. I felt like I can just rip apart the parts with bare hand.

I'm too having same issue with stickers. I planned to do a complete wrap once the bike is 2 years old or so.
I tried shell premium which almost 10 Rs extra for a liter.
I don't see any improvements on mileage or performance. Refinement was a tad better.
I lost my trust on Indian Oil after seeing a couple of times, when I fill 10 liters it was almost half of the tank. Both the times it was at different places.
So for now I'm good with Bharath Petroleum.
Yes definitely I will and BTW I too heard that BPCL is better when compared to others .But how was your FE with 10 L ?

Yes , the Apache 4v models aren't getting the ladies handle ! However we can install it by ordering from the local welding shop and iron scrap workshop . It's easy to do so! (You can see the ladies handle altered and being installed in many FZ bikes)

Checkout new fz v3 it's tank extensions move up and down when touched. According to me, apache and ns have best build quality in 200cc naked segment. Even RS 200 feels sturdy.

I get around 300-340 kms. For ladies handle, I've asked SVC, they said they will check and tell if there's a way.

If you haven't serviced your bike yet, please try to ask and get a pic of the connector of the TCI (of 160 4v) during the service.

As I saw from your post in a different thread, it seems that you've done 12k+, which means that your air filter and spark plug needs replacement.

Hi Arunuchalam, Did you get a seperate receipt for road tax since you received smart card.

A generic query. Can the the RTR 200 be considered an easy DIY bike?

Yes , My odo is 11902 Kms now and I have given the bike for service at 9 AM today. As per user manual it's advisable to change the AF & spark plug and the service mechanic also said the same.

The service section was good and busy .He spoked to me gently ,asked all the complaints and made sure that the delivery will be in the evening. Let's see...

After registration of the vehicle, rto's usually send it to the registered address via speed post, just like dl's.
