I have 80w90 oil now, I'll switch to w140 next time.
Just get the spray through the rear brake disc-pad assembly. It must be some sand and grit accumulation.
140 being thicker oil, I can visually analyze how much lube should go in.
90 is good too, just gotta be a little miser with the usage [emoji28]
Happy riding mate, you've got a sweet bike.

Quick update about my ownership: Done around 2800kms now, going for second service this weekend. Did a small 500 kms ride last week! Bike performance was awesome! I have couple of very minor concerns.

I have a slight squeaking sound coming from the rear, I can notice it only in crawling speed like 10-15kmph, not sure if it's from the brakes or suspension or what, but it's kind of annoying. Any idea what it is?

Also i use gear oil for chain lube and i have oil dripping from my side stand all the time, am I overdoing it or is this because of gear oil? It almost makes the rear wheel messy! Thinking I'll just go with chain lube cans, are they any better?

Any other things I should check during second service?
I believe the squeaking noise coming from the rear disc brake cover on top of it. When the cover is touching the disc you will notice it in slow speeds.
Also the gear oil always leave you with that mess. I get that even with chain sprays, but very little.

          Hi guys,

Can some member from Delhi suggest a good mechanic who can perform the fork alignment menthod in this video:-

(the method which involves loosening of the front assembly and then pressing the front end a dozen times to straighten everything)

I think my forks are not parallel to each other and need to try this method but don't have the tools.

I could still see non abs RTR 200 4v carburetor bikes are sold now. Only if the court intervenes similar to that of BS IV deadline, things will go in right direction.

I was/am well informed about the engine flush, I know it is unnecessary on new bike or before 10k kms, but I was about to pay for AMC plan, where the first bill was totally free. I just need to pay the AMC charges. that's why I asked them to do everything possible and needed.

When I refuelled, It took 11.3ltrs of petrol No Trip F indication also. I doubled checked the fuel switch and it was on main not on reserve.

Anyone faced same issue or know about the cause? Bike completed 6250km.

Also, during Heavy Traffic, the clutch release on 2nd or 1st gear gives 'kat kat' sound. Any idea about this?

Anybody has done ceramic coating or 9H coating in Bangalore? Is it worth?
I have had ceramic coat on 200 2.0 BLACK in Delhi

                      About me:
I know few little things about mechanic and I try my level best to understand them more.
I am following this thread from 2017, and today finally writing as I would like to clear some of points which I am feel.

Few things about me and my bike:
                      - I own RTR 200 (RED Matt) from Apr 17, till date. I really love this bike and this is one of the best which I have owned till date.
                      - I am city rider, on week ends go for small trips
                      - Total Odo (till date) is 28K
                      - I maintain my bike properly, every service is on time, from TVS SVC only (have AMC)
                      - Engine oil which I am using Motul 300 V (10w40)
                      - Every single thing in my is stock (no mods) apart from clutch (I got slipper clutch installed- from TVS SVC only)
                      - Getting mileage of 37Kmpl

Topic which I wanted to know about is Gear sensor:
                      * This has been really a pain. Till this date, TVS has replaced 4 gear sensors and multiple time clean/refix has been done, but again, it is same. Issue reoccurs after 500+ KMs. They provided different gen of modified parts, sometime from plant or sometime from R&D Team.

Can any suggest me on this as I am really confused about gear sensor. What should I do about this.

                      Please suggest.

                      - Please forgive me for mistakes (if any), this is my first time writing on any forums.
Yes, The fake Neutral fault came just next day of first service, before that it was absolutely fine. I have visited service center for 3-4 times for that problem. ASC changed sensors and gear dock too. but the problem Increased to that level where 2nd gear started showing neutral. I wrote a mail to TVS, ASC picked bike from home, kept it for a week (i didn't ask for quick repair willingly). last Saturday, I got my bike back. I checked it and f*#k the problem still persist once while checking. but it's been 4 days, they gear box is doing fine. No fake Neutral or no fake indications. ASC Owner and me have good communication now. I just call him and tell everything I'm facing and he pick bike from home.

What parts come under warranty, like handle coneset, piston-rings, rear shocker etc? just asking because i am now concerned about the bike's quality.
in my case, I bought my 2.0 in March. and it's front right shocker was leaking already before I bought it. I didn't notice that. as soon as noticed that, I took it to ASC after writing to the TVS and get it repaired. few days later, it started leaking again. again visited service center and get it repaired. Job card ask me to pay for it. but I did not and owner didn't asked me to pay. I even said I will not pay any money till my other (left) shocker is working fine and this one keep leaking.

ASC charged me just ₹100 on my 2nd service. I had it last Saturday.

Thanks a lot. I also got those details from the Service Manual. For the benefit of others,

Please look into 10th & 12th character of frame number. where 10th character represents the year of manufacture and 12th character represents the month of manufacture.

                            For Year
                            J ->2018
                            K- >2019
                            L- >2020

                            G - > July
                            H - > Aug
                            K - > Sep
                            L - > Oct
                            N - > Nov

                              Thanks for the info.
                              1. Is it water repellent?
                              2. How old is the coating on your bike?
                              3. Does it give extraordinary shine or the same when we take out the bike from showroom?
                              4. What type of maintenance is required after the coating. Only a water wash or wax is also required?
                              5. Can you share some images and the price info? I am planning to do the same in bangalore.
