And these are the two video reviews i always stay away from. Dino and RWR. His accent is too British, giving British an heart attack! 😁😂

And new bike buyers- soon to be owners, please relax. As someone said, this don't grocery. They all pass quality control and then reach you.
Even I was unsure abt it. Why would a bike fishtail unless one brakes hard and the rear tire skids. Ayways felt like he was a genuine reviewer so told abt it here.

Ya I too watched the Ride With Rahul review of the RTR200. Thorough and in depth analysis. But his British accent

Well brother your posts (in panic mode) were all over the place. I see you mentioned that your parents are not aware of your purchase...then you seemed quite agitated about going to the showroom to get the bike. I saw those and thought about calming you down.

Well bike stuff I can handle but family drama scares me too. Best of luck with your parents coming around.

Today rode the bike for total of around 70kms to and fro office. Enjoyed it but speed limit below 60km/hr. One thing I noticed is that the screws and nut fixed on the bike are of bad quality already started rusting. For a bike costing above a lakh this is not good. Second thing the bike key got bend today while I was closed the fuel lid again bad quality key.... TVS should have taken care of these small things. Nuts I will change to steel ones before it spoils the looks of the bike. For key I will have to figure out something else.

How did you manage to bend the key? Bad quality, I really don't think so.
And which nuts mate? Any specific one's?

Hey guys , I too managed to bend the key while closing the lid :sly: It was pretty embarrassing as I was riding with lots of people and they were waiting for me while I was hiding and fixing the bent key .

I guess it bent because after pressing the lid to close , I turned the key but it did not work I tried 3-4 time out of frustration and when it was finally done I took the key out and put it in ignition and then I noticed I am not able to move to ON position :what:

I got to know I have bent the key (but how ,I did not apply force while closing the fuel lid).

I was like WTH , have they made the key using pure gold.

That day I was awarded rank 1 in foolishness (some people may read as dhakkan)
We have custom that we award our friends the ranking of foolishness for these kind of works like forgetting the fuel knob on reserve position , leaving the key in ignition ,dropping the bike on straight road

But this key bending was epic

Could that be the RTR180/160? Coz I had seen a spyshot after the RTR200 released. In that, the bellypan fairing was missing, and it had a slightly thinner rear tire. So they could be updating the 160/180 too.

I doubt it would be the ABS variant, why would they tape it up?! The bike is already launched, no design changes. So :what:

I filled petrol and was closing the fuel cap when i press as the cap is a bit hard the key got bend. i did it straight again but not perfect. i am using the spare key.

Screws and nuts i am telling are the ones near the chain, on the side panels. the smaller ones which hold the panels and cover togethers.

Check out the key...there is a little bit of bend...as I made it proper but not perfect so it was still getting stuck in the ignition so started using spare key...

Today I went to TVS showroom as my friend is planning to buy a new bike. And just fell in love with this beauty😍. Only seen in images and video before it. But the actual bike looks amazing. And the exhaust is very nice. On road price here is 1.05 lakhs. As it was raining here so test ride was not available but he promised to give it whenever I visit on sunny day. Being pulsar AS200 owner I would definitely say that fit & finish is way better and seat is very much comfortable that my bike. They are giving studds helmet free and also told that fi abs version will be available by diwali and it will be close to 1.40 with pirelli not 100% confirmed though. But I personally fell in love with this beauty. A big thumps up for APACHE RTR200 4V🙏👍

                            Hello fellow rtrians..
The petrol tank lid lock is the culprit thats causing the key to bend.
I had informed the svc manager during my bike's first service..
He said he will check it up..
                            But as usual nothing happened..
I am thinking of complaining to tvs about it..
As im facing a tough time while opening up the tank lid while refuelling..
Some rust issues have also come up on my bike..
The svc guys did apply some anti rust spray..
                            Lets see if it works..
Will come up with a detailed review once my bike clocks 1000kms..
Currently it has clocked around 750kms..
                            Tc guys..
                            Ride safe..
                            Enjoy riding..😎😎😎😃😃

Guys, just had a word with south India head of service in TVS.

According to him the hard lock can be sorted by applying a drop of oil in the filler cap. As this doesn't open up completely like the older versions, this should be press fitted not with the help of the key. Moreover, the set is very new and will take time to smoothen up.

However, please post pics so that this can be e escalated.
                              Thanks
