Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
It depends on the variant you have booked bro and also the color of the bike. I got mine in 2 days since the bike is carburetor with stock TVS Tyres and was available at the Showroom (Fast Bykes Mathikere) when i booked it on June. But be careful you may also be given Test ride bike if you compel any showroom.Originally posted by Akshat Malviya View Post

I have enquired in ArunaGiri TVS near Kalyan Nagar, they told it would be typically a month.
But i'm waiting for ABS version to be released so i can't guarantee you that they would deliver within in the time bound. But just heard the max time from those guys.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Checked with showrooms guys and some online news that tvs will launch fi+abs after march 2017 when bs-iv norm would be mandatoryOriginally posted by Anelkumar View PostAny Source or just a guess mate?
before that they would sell carb version
Some sources say that production of carb version is stopped for some time and they are working on the bike to make it bs-iv compliant
But it is again my guess after doing calculation

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Have anybody changed the headlight bulb to a better one. I am finding the original bulb too much spread out. I am thinking of replacing the bulb with Philip Extreme vision plus 60/55W which is 130% more light and also legal bulb as i am not changing the wattage of the bulb. I have already bought the bulb will change it by next week. Let me see the difference.

I guess Your the First to do so in the Forum. Please check with the manual if it falls under warranty cause some companies don't allow any electrical changes until a year. Meanwhile Where did you get the Bulb from, any online links if possible could be helpful.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
I am not increasing the power of the bulb. It is the same 60/55W, so it should not void the warranty as such. It is same as per manufacturer recommendation.Originally posted by AbiRam View PostI guess Your the First to do so in the Forum. Using this on my RTR 180 since about 7 months now. Very good throw and visibility. Warranty won't be void don't worry. SVC guys are not going to check.Originally posted by rakowli View PostI am not increasing the power of the bulb. It is the same 60/55W, so it should not void the warranty as such. Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Went to Fast Byks showroom, Mathikere, Bangalore. It's one of the better TVS showrooms I feel, have heard from my friends that they do good service. They had only 1 sales guy today, although he was tending to another couple, he answered my queries patiently.
There was no display bike, though he's accepting bookings for base vatiant. It'll take a month it seems. And he told me, that, ABS cannot be retrofitted to the bike once bought. :/
