Is the FI variant available for sale? Strange that motorbeam reviewed the FI variant after a long while.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Please share some of your experience of this high speed rideOriginally posted by somesht3 View PostA few pics from yesterday's late night ride to Vadodara with my both machines from Ahmadabad. After 1800kms for the first time rode it at full throttle and surprisingly it clocked 143kmh! (Speedo error eh?) And my friend who was riding my 180 touched 136kmh.

Nice pics there :thumbup:Originally posted by somesht3 View Postsurprisingly it clocked 143kmh! (Speedo error eh?) And my friend who was riding my 180 touched 136kmh.
Could you please share the max engine rpm you are able to achieve or RPM at top speed if you observed.
I want to know as my engine rpm does not move after 9K ,thus max speed is 128Do Rev your heart in out or on treadmill After revving you bike's engine.A free flowing and high revving heart will give more happy miles too :)

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Was stuck at 9k and 126kmh but after pushing it for few minutes and leaning forward it started increasing and and max speed recorded was 143kmh (but i don't believe it as RTR 180 was ahead of my bike and i couldn't overtake it, and max speed recorded in 180 was 136 kmh!)Originally posted by CosmicSpeed View PostNice pics there

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Well, i have nothing to share as this was a short burst only 😁 but all i can say is 4v is not for high speed rides it struggles after 110kmh(imo) but there were zero vibrations even when the engine was redlining constantly.Originally posted by Vishal Rohra View PostPlease share some of your experience of this high speed ride

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
I did long trip and while returning, for 150-180 KM I constantly rode it above 90KM, max time it was in range of 100-110Originally posted by Shashank K R View PostHow is the 200 at constant 90-100? Does it feel stressed?
(I followed one Thunderbird, may be TB500,on 105-110 speed for long distance, surprisingly it was easy for him too, my surprise because I have heard it vibrate much after 90 but he was cruising easily)
90 is easy, it does not even cross 7K RPM for this speed so you can guess the easiness.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
i did some mileage testing and also 1 long trip of 300 kms approx plus rode at full throttle for abt 30 kms. I cud only touch 132 km/hr max.. i felt it can push more.. and the bike just outperformed. there was one more RTR 200 along which touched 146 km/hr... sharing some mileage test and speed tests below. so i think its actually on what speed you shift your gears you achieve your top speed but remember it damages your engine also quicker.
one more thing.. TVS is only giving the mobile charging option on it Fi models only... but its your bike.. do what you want to do with it.
i have attached my own charger to it.
added pic of that too.Vmax

2nd consecutive Mileage Update:Originally posted by CosmicSpeed View Post
EDIT:-
Update regarding FE
full tank at 716 and 1150 KMs , second fill was of 11.61 litters
434 KM ridden in 11.61 litters(approx 250 KMs are highway ride, rest in heavy traffic)
FE :- 37.38 KM/L
Good Day !!
Last full tank at 1150 as above, next full tank happened at 1542 KM.
petrol consumed in full tank(just after reserve) 10.67L
mileage 392/10.67 = 36.73 KM/L
Riding condition: out of 392, 160 KM on highway with almost always above 80, mostly in range of 90-100 KM/H (tried top speed too in this run
). Rest in heavy traffic(i do not roam in city, its always office commute, so peak time heavy traffic of Bangalore ).
Hope this help if some one is looking for info
.
it is almost similar to previous calculation and almost similar riding condition(little more highway ride).
Cheers.
Have a good and safe day

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Congrats, looks stunning in Matte-Black, take it to any open highway and complete the run-in there. Do not try to complete the run-in inside city, you will add more stress to the engine by constantly shifting. I would prefer to have the run-in split into 2, one for highway and one for city.Originally posted by tanishq View PostGot the rtr 200 yesterday...
