Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Sad thing to see, do you remember running over a pot-hole at high speeds. Do check with SVC if this will be covered under warranty. I doubt if they will, but just check once thoughOriginally posted by somesht3 View PostFound this today while cleaning my bike 😔 even though my bike haven't faced any crash or extreme offroading!!!R15S - Current

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
This is unfortunate!, get it checked for warranty as said above else claim insurance it should be hassle free. Do not ride with this for too long and replace it at the earliest.Originally posted by somesht3 View PostFound this today while cleaning my bike 😔 even though my bike haven't faced any crash or extreme offroading!!!

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
As per ACS guy in bangalore FI version is on sale in Tamilnadu. Checked on Monday, saw the bike too in yellow . As people were speculating yellow would come with FI , I guess that's true
Here is the pic in store room of ASC, though FI sticker was not there, bike was TN registered.
Edit: just checked, the registration number was visible but not fully, I hope this does not violate any rule here.Last edited by CosmicSpeed; 08-24-2016, 11:03 PM.Do Rev your heart in out or on treadmill After revving you bike's engine.A free flowing and high revving heart will give more happy miles too :)

That's good news. Though I have already finalised the red one at dealership here in Mumbai. Was awaiting for FI + ABS but couldn't wait much. Dealer is confirming that one can get ABS retrofitted.. But I have my doubts about it.

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Completed the first servicing today. Changed engine oil but before that they put engine flush liquid and then changed the oil. Top up the rear brake fluid as it was less and sparyed the chain lube after washing. Overall good service and got the bike in less than 2 hours. Bike is again smooth and vibe less. Completed 850 kms so now can ride it normally not too rough and fast but can go till 90 now. Enjoying the bike.

Next service is between 2500-3000kms. There it is wrong in the bill. Yes now it is more smooth. It was a bit rough before the service. Now its much better to ride. Will check the highway ride tomorrow.Originally posted by roamer View PostWhat's the first and second service interval? In your invoice it is showing as 1 sep as next service date.
Any change noticed in riding performance post the service?

Re: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V
Engine flush is done to remove all the carbon and sludge if any in the bike. Its normally done for older bikes. But I think they did this on my bike maybe Because of the first service and to remove all small particles. Also they are pouring synthetic oil already. Required is 1.2 Litres.Originally posted by CosmicSpeed View Post2nd service is after 2 months of 1 st service.

. they did not do that for me here in Bangalore and was not aware of that so asked .
BTW, the engine oil quantity I asked because that oil use to come in 1 ltr bottle(as per news and tvs site) and they have charged for same 1 liter oil. where is extra cost
.
I remember, for me they had written the quantity 1.2 ltr specifically and calculated the cost for 1.2 ltr.Do Rev your heart in out or on treadmill After revving you bike's engine.A free flowing and high revving heart will give more happy miles too :)
