Try applying colored chalk to the disc then push by hand to confirm contact.
Once you have confirmed, check with sc on how to fix.
For the oil level, the bike ships out with level @ min. The level of oil is not that much of a problem at all. Between Mid to min level is ok as seen at cold without start.
For oil i think following 3 points matter more

1. Allow 60 sec time for the bike piston to lubricate by idling after start. Oil level talk won't help at all if you start and zoom off and start high revving right off the bat.
2. Monitor oil level every month. Top off oil at every 500 kms or as required.
3. Synthetic oil lasts longer than mineral oil. But that's not true for the oil filter or damage from sludge build up. So if you can afford it, change the oil, filter at 5000 kms.

Note that there is a sensor to warn of low oil. Bottomline : As long as you can see the oil level, you are good. Just keep topping up as required.
Thanks a lot for the clarification. The chalk lining method did not click at all in my mind. Will try it today evening. I hope that it's nothing too serious.

Regarding the oil level the sensors don't glow when the bike's running. So I can assume that the oil level is okay. Though I won't take chances. [emoji4] [emoji4]

You can just colour one section i. e 1 pizza slice 😉
Also for oil level make sure bike is vertical before you check. Top off right away if you think so.
Worst thing ever is to ride a hard earned bike while worrying about oil level or air pressure or chain noise. That's a total killjoy. Happy riding.

I took a ride for 11km approx., on returning home waited for the fan to stop at idle. I waited more than 10 mins, fan stops but restarts. Is it normal ?

Its absolutely NORMAL, the fan gets off when the temp goes down, then if you don't kill the engine and keep the bike idling, then it will heat up, temperatures rises again fan comes on...

This repeats...

the fuel bars are not updating in real time .. need to switch off the ignition and restart for update.
anyone else has the same issue.

please advice

also one fuel bar = how much liter petrol ??

i rided 45 kms in 35 mins (bike is on break-in period)

Not sure about the fuel bar=how much liters,

Break-in period should be mainted within 4500rpm as per the old posts and respective speeds as mentioned by bajaj.

I completed 500 today morning. And during the entire ride I mainted 4500rpm max once in a while above that.

Yesterday I opened the cluster and I feel it cannot be sorted. The microprocessor is updating the fuel bar every one min approx. And during this one min, if the fuel floating sensor moves up n down then it is taking average which will keep the bar at same level unless there is a drastic drop in fuel. Like 2 or 3 litre which is not possible on running.

When you switch off and turn on again, the processor is reset and takes the current value from fuel sensor and shows you correct value. I tried to trace the circuit on the cluster but it's all coated and very risky to check with power on.

If I can get a cluster from a damaged bike then maybe I can find a solution. I can't risk my hikes cluster for testing.

Yea and a little bit of our calculations should come into play to be on the safer side.

As benz said it takes reading several times and also gets reset once you switch off and on. I hope it gets resolved or esle we have to be knowing the limits of the tank depending on our riding styles.

No. The fuel gauge is not controlled by ECU. The cluster has its own processor which is not upgradable.

Yes, specially when it is at two bar and riding long. Best is top it once it reaches two bar or so.
