Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
A general question considering that most of us here aren't professional riders - WHY would you buy the non-ABS model over the ABS one?Is it a general lack of awareness or a misheld belief that I am a good enough brake specialist that I wouldn't need ABS to help me?One of the main reason I chose the Apache as my first bike was only down to the ABS and in my 3 years there have been 2 incidents where I am sure that if not for the ABS I would have either ended up in a deep ditch or been sandwiched between 2 cars. ABS is absolutely vital. Please don't buy the non-ABS version only because its a few thousands cheaper.#Shadowfax Apache RTR 180 ABS - 2014 - 2019

Agree with you. Again, it depends on the person's choice and the budget (To be precise). Also, if one opts for Non-ABS, which would not require on the place or the roads where he rides.Originally posted by Raman Swaminathan View PostA general question considering that most of us here aren't professional riders - WHY would you buy the non-ABS model over the ABS one?Is it a general lack of awareness or a misheld belief that I am a good enough brake specialist that I wouldn't need ABS to help me?One of the main reason I chose the Apache as my first bike was only down to the ABS and in my 3 years there have been 2 incidents where I am sure that if not for the ABS I would have either ended up in a deep ditch or been sandwiched between 2 cars. As you rightly mentioned, even I feel the need of ABS in today's city conditions.

Abs is a boon (that too in an affordable price) for bikers in Indian conditions, upon that bike being a 400cc (not so small). It definitely needs whether you are a professional or a beginner. Cause we can't be always 100% sure during some unexpected situations but the ABS will play it's roll always.Originally posted by VeVi View PostAgree with you. And finally it all boils down to everyone's personal choices.....[emoji16] [emoji16] [emoji16] .

And in Indian conditions nobody can predict what may happen within seconds.Originally posted by Raman Swaminathan View PostA general question considering that most of us here aren't professional riders - WHY would you buy the non-ABS model over the ABS one?Is it a general lack of awareness or a misheld belief that I am a good enough brake specialist that I wouldn't need ABS to help me?One of the main reason I chose the Apache as my first bike was only down to the ABS and in my 3 years there have been 2 incidents where I am sure that if not for the ABS I would have either ended up in a deep ditch or been sandwiched between 2 cars. Has anyone fixed a hazard light adaptor on Dominar ? A friend of mine wants to plonk the one on KTM duke to the Dominar. Does dominar have an alarm switch ? Asking this since I do not have physical access to the bike currently. Here is the product link to give you all an idea. Thanks for any help.

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
This is a expensive option , try novatronics or local market for better options as here in delhi many owners are using this hazzard light thing ranging from 250 to 1500bucks , with multiple nodes like 12 or more.Originally posted by MidnightEvil Parth View PostHas anyone fixed a hazard light adaptor on Dominar ? If u are in delhi , u can try karol bagh as someone recently got it from Golden bikes in karol bagh, ot u can try online or any of ur nearby local market . The real tginGis that you are never going to use more than 3 or 4 patterns so why go for a 50 patterns one.Originally posted by MidnightEvil Parth View PostThanks for the input.
