Pull two wires inside the black sleeve on the left side of the handle. This sleeve has cable running from headlight casing to your left hand switches. Another wire can be given directly to your LED light.
Ok, I will try to open the head lamp casing.

Also I was thinking if there is a way to turn it on when on high beam or at-least when the lowbeam(easiest, I think), so that I can avoid the extra switch in the handle bar.
The switch I bought is of poor quality. Had used it on my Bull, Lost my fuse a few time due to short circuit while washing the ride as the switches are not water proof.

You can do that. Once you open the headlight casing, on the left side you have a connector with single wire. I think the wire color is green. This is the cable from the headlight switch you have on the right side of the handle. Just tap the wire and put a fuse and give it to your LED. Always put a fuse as you have risk of cable getting short to the body.

Can I ask how you're getting the engine temp to display on that little lcd? Are you running a wire/connection from the OBD II port?

Any link to those small lcd screens below the main display?

          Cheers!

            Hi guys,
Just 2 days back bought her home, well first things first the bike feels so premium(upgrading from gixxer) at least for me. The fan kicking in or even the small buzz when the bike's ignition is turned on feels great. Vibes are fine. Super comfy as gixxer had a more aggressive stance but the stance on the dominar is a little bit aggressive yet comfortable just the right balance I guess. I'm in love with her , everything feels so good I just keep staring her most of the time😂😂😂. Well I had a query though , When then bike's ignition is turned on, the Fi light, battery light basically all the lights on the left hand side of the bajaj logo lit up and even the abs logo. Just wanted to know if it's fine or not.
            Regards.

I am using a sensor that is inserted inside the radiator and I am reading the coolant temp which should be equal to engine temp while running. These are the small modules you get in Aliexpress

here the display is big and I have changed it to smaller on - 0.36" size

Every Sensor light will be ON till the engine is started, if something is lit after that then there is some problem. Incase of ABS, the check happens at 6kmph and the light goes OFF only by then .

As far as I have checked, I got a mileage of about 24kmpl on my way to work (Bumper to Bumper Chennai Traffic). And once I took it all the way to Pondicherry and had a decent mileage of about 29kmpl.

P.S My bike has just completed the first free service so I might be off but this is my observation

I am getting 30 in city drive. 60% bumper to bumper traffic and 40% normal running traffic. I only get once to use the 6th gear in an 35km drive and that will be max of 2km in 6th gear. Did not go for long drive yet to check the highway mileage
