Not on any curve. As per the eyewitnesses, the GT guy was speeding upwards of 100kmphon that freaking narrow by lane as I call it and suddenly he realized there's a scooty in his line of run and to avoid that he turned right Which was right in the middle of the road and that's when he hit head on with Raman, the deceased.

The pillion went flying a couple of meters ahead.

With due respect to the fallen riders, I would like to learn how to avoid such accidents in the future. So the Hyosung rider made an error of judgement by swerving into incoming lane rather than braking.

I think if the Hyosung had braked hard, staying in his lane, he would have hit the Activa anyway. However the impact of such collision would be significantly less than the one which happened head on, at a combined speed of 140+ kmph.

If he could have slowed to 80kmph as soon as he saw the Activa, the collision would take place at 80-(Activa speed), possibly making it non fatal.

Perfect example of not to trust media. They are becoming shit day by day.

The police commissioner said it was stunting. Possibly they have spoken to eyewitnesses. Either the eyewitness was mistaken or there is some truth to media reports.

In G maps, one sees the IIFT, nearby there is a lane which has a lot of dhabas, Xbhp included. It's has a bit of a long straight. Popular among bikers nearby, I guess.

I am not 100% sure as I didn't knew them but I don't think the media report is true. The Dominor guy was not stunting from what we could see.

The Hindustan times has spoken to an eyewitness, Tanku, a dhabha employee who mentioned that the two bikes were going at each other at high speed, above 100 kmph. Suddenly the dhaba owner's scooter appeared on the scene, foiling the stunt.

This kind of stunt is performed regularly in that stretch, said another witness, Pandey, a private security guard. He saw the two bikes speeding towards each other, and, having watched this many times, turned his attention elsewhere until he heard a big explosion like sound. Pandey did not state the speed of the Dominar, but the Hysosung he felt was going at 100+.

This could be media adding 1+1 and getting 3 since they have no witness to state the perceived speed of the Dominar.

Dominar guy was not in speed, it was Hyosung guy and riders on it which resulted in it. One of the riders of Hyosung has totally broken the bones of his arm and shoulder and high chances that the arm has to be amputated.

The following info was given by a common friend of me and Hyosung owner alongwith these

No wonder!! The dhaba lane is all tarmac and even the road sides are all laid in stone. Anybody going down has very less chances of any mercy let alone at the speed at which he was. His pillion was lucky to survive. From what I heard his fall was broken by a tree, else he would have been much worse.
