Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
I would suggest you go by the recommendation given in the owners manual. I guess they use strictly synthetic oil during servicing.Originally posted by ~wolverine~ View Posthello experts,
This is a query regarding first service of Dominar.
Should we go for the engine oil provided by Bajaj or any other engine oil like motul etc, with same grade?

Thanks for the reply.Originally posted by Rajendra Wadile View PostI would suggest you go by the recommendation given in the owners manual. I guess they use strictly synthetic oil during servicing.
I meant...if we should go for the oil provided by bajaj or any other company?
Oil will be synthetic with same grade, no doubt.

Depends on the reputation of the service station and how the engineers are there. Do they have proper knowledge about servicing this new bike. If all fits your bill go for the service station provided oil.Originally posted by ~wolverine~ View PostThanks for the reply.

You may want to watch this for PDI

For making payments before choosing - Tell him that you want to choose the bike first then will make the payment.
If denied, try another showroom. Or tell him that you'll go to another showroom.
Understand this "customer is the king".

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
I am tired of people gesticulating that headlight is on. Sometimes engine doesn't start with one single short press, I have to keep it pressed for couple of seconds. Has anyone else experienced it too? Second I feel sort of strain in my forearms. I guess handlebar is touch too wide/far.
