An Owner's Review saying he got scratch in his D400 tank with his jacket zip I guess.I doubt that paint protection.Originally posted by M faizan View PostHi
Bajaj is offering acrylic coating for bike paint protection. One of my friend has done ceramic coating on his car and I think its amazing. I am thinking to get same done on the bike. Please advise if there is any other coating which would help to evade scratches.

Hi, I am using normal petrol along with system G on my Duke 390, no issue till date.Originally posted by old_novice View PostIt is confusing. Manual says use high octane petrol. But there are articles which say high octane petrol can damage engine. I go with normal petrol.

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
When so many duke200s,390s,ninja 300s,R3s and many more superbikes are doing leh ladakh circuit totally fine with normal petrol, why would dominor need high octane fuel? Dominor is a better bike in every sense to take to leh. It has fuel injection, abs and a better reliability and still people say RE is a better bike to take to leh!Originally posted by mlakhtakia View PostMy concern is if this uses only high octane petrol then it is useless for long tours. Then definitely RE is better bet for Laddakh tour.

No bike below a Daytona *needs* high octane petrol. Not even Z1000s and the Busas. 91 RON normal fuel is fine sir.Originally posted by mlakhtakia View PostMy concern is if this uses only high octane petrol then it is useless for long tours. Well, that's why we use tank pads. Jackets and pants' zips hurt the tank and no paint can withstand it.Originally posted by tuffswooshsamy View PostAn Owner's Review saying he got scratch in his D400 tank with his jacket zip I guess.I doubt that paint protection.

Absolutely agree with you. RE is the best example on how to convert fuel into loud sound.Originally posted by IamAditya View PostThere is no legacy in RE, people who doesn't know much about motorbikes or how a motorbike should be, will buy RE.
