The front lever shouldn't get jammed for unresponsive. Though there can be mild fluttering of the front brake lever, the lever just shouldn't get stuck, it should return to its original position irrespective of the force applied. This will certainly amplify the "heart in the mouth" clause since grabby levers don't give one the confidence to push the lever hard. Check your front master cylinder piston and get MS kit replaced if necessary along with thoroughly bleeding the system.

If your brakes are soggy, unresponsive, it's time to rebleed your system and clean your calipers, and check the condition of the rotor thickness along with the pad material. A worn out rotor would mean the pads have to travel more to grab and sometimes they squeal bad. Get your rotor thickness checked, the MIN TH reading is punched on the rotor at 3.5 mm if my memory serves me right. Also, check your master cylinder piston kit, this is what transfers your braking pressure to the calipers, if this is out of whack, sogginess and hence crappy brakes. Get them checked and keep your observations posted.

Check your battery cable lugs, a loose cable lug would also mean similar symptoms. Secondly, make sure the battery has good charging voltage and the battery is getting charged. A failed or in the process of failing stator coil would not charge the battery efficiently and hence the battery doesn't hold enough charge or provide enough amps to crank your starter. Thirdly, check your battery itself, if it's able to hold the charge, a simple voltmeter check from your battery wala can tell you the condition of the battery. They can check everything I've mentioned and give you a health report on the system or your SVC too can help you out. Nonetheless start off with battery, battery connectors, and then the charging system itself. Keep your observations posted.

While ridding the bike today morning, it suddenly went off and never switched on. Had to tow it to the service center where they said the Fuse for ECU had gone off, so they replaced the fuse and I rode the bike back home (close to 5km). Evening, again, just started the bike and same issue, duse went off. This time i knew where the fuse was so removed it and put the xtra fuse they had placed in the box. Even that fuse went off. So totally 3 fuse in a day!!! Any idea what the issue could be? I had washed the bike the previous day in the morning, post that rode the bike for 100+ km before reaching home.
Fuses go bust due to only one reason, they are being shorted somewhere. If too much current passes on a specific line, more than the desired amps, a fuse trips. A continuous tripping of the same fuse would mean, water it's clearly a positive short. Give your fuse boxes and elsewhere a good air jet clean. Secondly, check for connectors that are accidentally earthing i.e accessories or wiring of the bike itself. Make sure your battery terminals are secured properly and no wires are grazing the battery or the terminals. Keep your observations posted.

    Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

    THE END

Based on other posts from great folks here, i started opening tank cover and closing before starting. Works like a charm. Must be air tight tank and pressure building due to summer heat.

I am also facing similar issue. Bike only 1800kms. Front brake feels like jammed and lever doesnt push completely. How to resolve this?

4th and 5th buddy, but I'm afraid they may not acknowledge the issue at the service centre, which is why I want to know if it's ok to ignore this issue?

              Thanks, have a good day

Here is the update, One of the SVC kept the bike with them for a day, and they didnt find any issue. And Surprisingly the bike started. Worked for 1 day like a charm. Next day, at night 9pm the same fuse goes off again. Had to Push the bike, uphill, for 4kms to my friends place and then next day 1km to the SVC. Now its still there. Apparently should get it today!! Hopefully it gets fixed. The worse thing about Bajaj SVC in Blore is, none of them have a Towing service

                  Hi
Recently my dom fuel gauge doesn't show last bar even if i fill petrol to the brim. I tried twice every time last bar doesn't show up. But functionality of the fuel gauge works fine. Bar disappeared in real time while i am on ride. It's weird why the last bar not showing up even though fuel up the tank to brim . Any idea??

I purchased my bike in Popular Bhanerghatta rd , Thy suggested AMC(Annual Maintenance Card) Where they tow the vehicle if there is any issue in and around 10kms from service center for free. Try it Bajaj SVC wont provide it, they have tie u with other and they provide it.

Once my clutch cable got cut middle of my journey and they reached within half n hr with original clutch cable and replaced it, Same spare cost + spare Installation cost is charged same bill even if u go to service center.

Stock chains fitted on our bikes are made by Rolon.

The Khivraj SVC in Banaswadi are the worst!!! They didnt find the issue (which I kinda got used to) but they returned the bike without the screws for the front seats. And rode the bike for almost 35km (apparently they call it test drive)

And the bike, I finally took it the Khivraj SVC in Kasturba road, since I knew someone there. They finally found the issue. The Engine Kill switch is apparently faulty. They said they will change it and have a complete check and Return the bike on Monday (well, they have an off for the next 2 day, and then Im out of town post that, hence Monday).

                            Fingers crossed!!

While Bajaj claims their oil to last upto 10000kms, most are changing it within 5k. One rider recently told me that semi synthetic though lasts longer than synthetic - though I'm not really convinced.

So, if the FS oil is good for 5000 KMS then SS should last for 2000-2500 KMS in Dominar right?
