Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Actually powerful engines like that of Dominar generate more heat so I feel SS may last upto 2.5K Kms at max...not sure though [emoji28]Originally posted by sanjeet286 View PostThe technical folks can correct me but I would say 3.5k Kms for semi synthetic and about 5-6k for fully synthetic.2005 HH Karizma [SOLD]

Which city of India are you in? If Bangalore, then try Rao seats in Shivajinagar.Originally posted by akshaysondkar View PostHello guys. Just got a chance to ride a Himalayan. The seats of Himalayan are way to comfortable. Any idea like where and how can i get the same kind of seats for dominar?Wind in my hair.... and I'm semi bald...

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
This is very new. I chose the bike I wanted to buy and they didn't do any of such nonsense. Tell them you need a soft breakin and hence don't need this bike. Bajaj does a detailed Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) and you'll see the sticker somewhere on the bike also, so the SC's additional checks are not reqd esp high revving of the engine. They may do another check of the electrical connections, indicators, battery, body damage etc, but nothing of the sort which you spoke of.Originally posted by Mr.Osm View PostHello everyone i booked a dominar 2019 model my bike came to showroom and waiting for rto approval but mechanics are riding the bike like anything they are riding in higher rpms and revving the engine i asked to person who attend me he said its usual that we will check 0 to 100, top speed,100 to 0 all kind of activities and after 25km only they will give the bikes to the customers seems, iam weird of it please someone explain it . That's highly unprofessional and stupid act on the dealership part to rev a new engine...may be the PDI guys have seen this model for the first time and trying their hand on it...Originally posted by Mr.Osm View PostHello everyone i booked a dominar 2019 model my bike came to showroom and waiting for rto approval but mechanics are riding the bike like anything they are riding in higher rpms and revving the engine i asked to person who attend me he said its usual that we will check 0 to 100, top speed,100 to 0 all kind of activities and after 25km only they will give the bikes to the customers seems, iam weird of it please someone explain it . Then go to another sales centre incase you are not confortable. Hoping you have not paid the full amount.Originally posted by Mr.Osm View PostReally thanks bro but they are refusing it they are saying we will do it
Else, just take care of the bike after you get it in your hands. Should be fine.Wind in my hair.... and I'm semi bald...
