The stuff I would like to upgrade: USD Forks, double barel exhaust, tank pad and the mirrors. Wonder if the gear position indicator could be installed from the new model.
Have the brakes been upgraded in any way on the newer model?

That I very well understood after upgrading the ABS dominar to 118. Now back to 117.

          Who told u that.
It is not the peak tourqe, engine hits 80 percent of the tourqe at 3.5k rpm and the rest/ maximum at 6.5k rpm.
There is always going to be a torque curve where the engine produce some viberation and after passing that point the viberation comes down more of this with a single cylinder engine like we have.
The higher the capacity of a single pot engine higher the vibes to reduce those vibes we need things like counter balancer shafts and other things.

                Hello all!
After the 2nd service,i hear a strange noise from some part of the bike when i release the throttle, its like a spinning noise and i didn't have this problem before service, it's only audible when i let go of the throttle from 60kmph and above.

Its the kind of noise you would hear when you drive with a flat tyre, but it's not the tyres, checked them, they're fine.

                2018 dominar
                2800km on the odo.
                2nd service over.

Brake cleaning, oil change, chain adjustment, chain cleaning and vibration kit intsallation were carried out in the second service.

Any help would be great, Thank you [emoji3] Have a nice day

Did anybody here tried to adjust the rear monoshock? Is the softest setting too soft or has good balance of ride and handling combo?

Khivraj Kasturba Road is what many riders recommend.

Today i felt increased vibration in rider foot pegs and in overall engine area..
Stopped at nearest local mechanic shop.
Checked engine both side covers (casing). Found all those bolts are loose, same was attended. checked foot pegs area Allen bolts, those were fully loose and one bolt is missing..(recently i changed chain sprocket in service center)

Now observed slight oil leakage below o2 sensor area(before tightening).

What kind of servicing is this from bajaj.???

For the pillion foot rests, it has been recommended to take the rider footrest and super glue it on top of the rider footrest. It helps reduce the vibrations hy a lot!! (I haven't personally tried it).

The oil leakage could be due to the loose front sprocket cover. It's generally the lube which is flying around when the bike is moving.

                          Hi Sanjeet,

Thank you for responding. My experience with Khivraj Motors, Kasturba Road has been bitter. Looking at other centers at the moment. Any pointers is much appreciated.

How many of you are going to book it ?

Hi.. my name is pavi... I a m from Cochin. Currently using cbr250 non abs model. I am really looking forward to book the new 2019 dominar. But my question is, iam a student nd i will travel between Munnar and Ernakulam twice in a week. Whats the mileage i can expect? Bike will be strictly used in long rides. What can i achieve if i ride carefully. I am getting between 35 to 40 in my cbr250. And what will be the refinement levels compared to cbr 250? I heard that in the new model the vibes are almost eliminated.

On long rides (highway) at constant cruising around 85 km/hr I got the milage around 35 kmpl.
These long drive includes highway + ghat section + shitty road (Village road) (pune to Mahabaleshwar) (pune to kokan)
I did not hit the Triple digits even once in these 2-3 long drives
