I tried this for 200kms in a 4 lane highway.
Shifted gears at 3.5- 4k and rode it 4-4.5k@80-85 speed and got the mileage of 31.4

        Next 200kms i tried.
        @ 4k shifting and cruised at 5-5.5k ,90-95km speed. Mileage was 33.4

Solo ride.. new front tyre 28psi
Rear almost worn out tyre 32psi.
New chain sprocket.. oiled and adjusted before the trip.

Don't think about mileage, CT100 gives better .. Still you have decided to get the beast, so enjoy it that way..

Not sure, may be... Not for me even when touring.. I don't think about that.. I see half the bars, halt... refuel.. Broommm...!

Oh great if you have that option for short rides, I use my Dominar in city.. Traffic is a pain in your palm...

Simple. To make the transfer of power smooth and cushioned as possible, also it's cheap to replace parts as a separate unit as opposed to a single unit. It's called the rear wheel hub, coupling that you are referring to, can be made as a single unit. In case of wear and tear, you have to replace the entire rim/hub unit for a part that costed Rs. 60 to replace would now set you back close to Rs. 6000. I definitely wouldn't pay that much.

              Cheers!

              The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

                    Hi,

                    1) Are those brushed aluminium brake and clutch levers of avenger a direct fit for Dominar?

                    2) Anyone using those bar end mirrors here? Are they as effective as regular mirrors?

I seriously don't know what's wrong with all of today's bike's macwheels? Why they break so much. I have had 220f for 7 years. I broke some potholes with it but never an alloy. Gurus please shed some light. Why this is the problem with all latest bikes. I have never heard of it in old pulsars and all the bikes which had. It's like we're going back in time.....

Probably flashy designs and cost cutting.

interesting.. i had 2008 P220DTS-Fi (1st gen) and was able to bend alloy (front wheel) on a pothole.

It happens to all bikes new or old. Start maintaining correct tire pressure and it can be avoided.

                                Hi riders..

Is it possible to alter the chain sprocket (without losing mileage, i dont mind if top or initial pick up slightly reduced)

so that Dominar can crawl in 2nd gear in those sharp humps/potholes for which bike needs to be below 15km/hr speed.
As of now below 19km/hr it begs for 1st gear showing jerk in 2nd.

                                Thank you..
