New chain sprocket.. oiled and adjusted before the trip.
Don't think about mileage, CT100 gives better
.. Still you have decided to get the beast, so enjoy it that way..

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Simple. To make the transfer of power smooth and cushioned as possible, also it's cheap to replace parts as a separate unit as opposed to a single unit. It's called the rear wheel hub, coupling that you are referring to, can be made as a single unit. In case of wear and tear, you have to replace the entire rim/hub unit for a part that costed Rs. 60 to replace would now set you back close to Rs. 6000. I definitely wouldn't pay that much.Originally posted by Throttlefreak View Post[emoji137]Any automotive gurus here who can explain as to why the rear wheel coupling and the rim are not manufactured as a single unit? Wouldn't it be simpler to do that?
Cheers!

The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Hi,
1) Are those brushed aluminium brake and clutch levers of avenger a direct fit for Dominar?
2) Anyone using those bar end mirrors here? Are they as effective as regular mirrors?2005 HH Karizma [SOLD]

I seriously don't know what's wrong with all of today's bike's macwheels? Why they break so much. I have had 220f for 7 years. I broke some potholes with it but never an alloy. Gurus please shed some light. Why this is the problem with all latest bikes. I have never heard of it in old pulsars and all the bikes which had. It's like we're going back in time.....Originally posted by jagaddjag View PostHi, I need some help. Any one here got their alloy wheels replaced under insurance. interesting.. i had 2008 P220DTS-Fi (1st gen) and was able to bend alloy (front wheel) on a pothole.Originally posted by faysal_khan View PostI seriously don't know what's wrong with all of today's bike's macwheels? It happens to all bikes new or old. Start maintaining correct tire pressure and it can be avoided.

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Hi riders..
Is it possible to alter the chain sprocket (without losing mileage, i dont mind if top or initial pick up slightly reduced)
so that Dominar can crawl in 2nd gear in those sharp humps/potholes for which bike needs to be below 15km/hr speed.
As of now below 19km/hr it begs for 1st gear showing jerk in 2nd.
Thank you..
