I did not hit the Triple digits even once in these 2-3 long drives
Thanks for the info brother. Roads between Ernakulam to munnar is also same as you mentioned. I will usually don't go above 85 on those roads. So anything above 30 is ok for me

What can i achieve if i ride carefully. I am getting between 35 to 40 in my cbr250. And what will be the refinement levels compared to cbr 250? I heard that in the new model the vibes are almost eliminated.
You can easily expect 30- 35kms brother, mine improved significantly after the first service.

Well, yeah but they are still the best. Else you can try Popular Bajaj (Opposite Sagar hospital Banerghatta road) - but heard that the old guys have moved on few weeks back.

If you can not worried about the warranty, then you can try specialist service centres such as Xtorque (Kalyan Nagar). Riders can't stop raving about how good they are and the type of service they do. They also have an AMC for DOC-B which is very well worth the amount.

You can also try Highlander (HSR layout) or Torq92 as an alternate option.

Or, you can go to Bajaj SC to just change your oil as part of their service so that you fall under warranty but do all other work from the above mentioned folks. Will be on the expensive side, but you'll have peace of mind (no cost can be compared to a peace of mind though) :-)

For 90kmph to 120 kmph of relaxed cruising mine 2017 returns 32 to 36kmpl.
Max i got from it was 37.8 kmpl while not going above 90kmph.
5.5k to 6.5k rpm the fe would be good on Highways above 7k rpm it takes a hit.

Point to note here is rpm mentioned is important.
The new Dominar might give slight less in city and more or less same on highway.

Mine gives best Highway fe at 5.5k to 6 k rpm. Personal experience. 4k is when it enters the power band.
And 4.5 to 5k is the buzzy zone in our case with older generation Dominar.

At current situation i recommend you not to go to popular Bajaj (Opposite Sagar hospital Banerghatta road). As mentioned all the experts have moved out from here, Thus currently its all shit people who want to get money from you. guys here suggest radiator flush ever service, and charge 1200 for the same, which is required 15k kms once, as per user experience. I used to get my domi serviced here right from the start.
But in the last few months when the domi experts left service here has become pathetic.

Can anyone tell me which is the best brands for Dominar 400 and why should I select that engine oil?
I have heard of Motul, Castrol, Veedol, Valvoline, Divyol, Shell engine oil which should I opt for?

                        Stick with Stock grade 10w50
                        My preference would be
1 Bajaj dtsi 10000 had good experience with it.
2 Castrol power 1 racing, as castrol is my go to brand for year now in aftermarket oils.

                        3 motul 7100 10w50.

                        4 liqymoli.

5 amisol dirt bike oil 10w50.

6 putoline 10w50 this would be most expesive one.
Unfortunately shell and mobile one doesn't have 10w50.

More or less all oil would perform same , important point here is to keep the change interval at 5k kms.

With motul u would be needing topup at 3k kms as per user experience.

For me bajaj dtsi 10000 by total works best , smooth running and smooth gear shifts. It is made by total which is no less a brand than motul and others.

A little too premature to say whether this is actually happening but if it's true then shots have been fired. [emoji14]

No this is regarding the tie up they made with autologe design pune to supply touring accessories for new Dominar.
Autologe will now officially supply accessories to bajaj Dealerships.
Year after ktm adv is a thing to see as of now it would be accessories kit.

THAT I am aware of. The article says that this might launch 1 year after Duke 390 Adv's launch i.e. late 2020. It's all speculation as of now anyway.
                              My bad!
