Superb dedication :-) I don't think the dealers will do it as they are primarily tied up with MRF. You may have to check with the tyre shops (JC Road) or any in city ones if they would agree.

I just shared the one which I used for 2018 version. See if that helps.Originally posted by Ashwiin Napster View PostAFAIK, i don't think there's one specifically made for Dominar. If there is one, any member of the group could share it for you. Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Admin from DRCB mentioned this. He has 2017 model.
You need
R/L mirrors
Left yoke assembly (it will have clutch lever too)
Right yoke (it's a small piece) no stock available so did some jugad for now.
Overall cost is around 1300..Originally posted by hi.manshu View PostHi Guys.
I own a 2017 model Dominar wanted to install the mirror of 2019 model.
Has anyone installed the new design mirrors in the old model? Service centre guys said it requires few changes?
Please help.

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Stock is 12v 8ah Vrla, for replacement battery you will most probably get 12v 9ah vrla . Both amaron and xide are good check the warranty package and ease of getting it checked or replaced if ever needed. Buy a brand which has good support network at your locationOriginally posted by Sunnychayan View PostI have a 2017 model dominar. I need to get a new battery. Need some suggestions. Is the AMARON AP-BTZ9R suitable?
And do match the specs. Again both Amaron and exide are good to go.

A 9ah battery won't create any problems I hope?Originally posted by Ijs View PostStock is 12v 8ah Vrla, for replacement battery you will most probably get 12v 9ah vrla . Yes, no issues. Most of the times stock battery rating is only available for stock.Originally posted by Sunnychayan View PostA 9ah battery won't create any problems I hope?
So if you won't get 8ah then 9ah is good to go. Many are using Amaron 9ah.
Important part is 12v 8ah/9ah vrla.Last edited by Ijs; 08-31-2019, 09:51 PM.

this is a 8Ah battery only.. don't get confused with the 9 in the model number.Originally posted by Sunnychayan View PostI have a 2017 model dominar. I need to get a new battery. Need some suggestions. Is the AMARON AP-BTZ9R suitable?
both the exide and amaron vrla 8Ah batteries have the 9 in their model numbers.. they are infact only 8Ah and a direct replacement for the ktm/dominor.Originally posted by Ijs View PostStock is 12v 8ah Vrla, for replacement battery you will most probably get 12v 9ah vrla . Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Guys, I need Help...
I have "Manually" installed a hazard light line from the stock flasher relay to a hazard switch I installed to the handlebar, back to the left and right signal light connections. Basically just tried sharing the relay output to all the signal lights so all of them blinks at the same time when I turn on a switch. I thought I had it OK, because when I switched it on, it works and blinks normally... However If I start the engine, the normal blinking turns into irregular strobe like flashes..., once I turn off the engine, it returns the normal blinking....
Do you have any idea how can I make this work normally while the engine is running???

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
That almost sound like a deal-breaker to me as I'm planning to buy the new dominar but read your later post on how its better aimed at touring purpose than sporty or agile handling. Does this really make that much of a difference in handling between the old and new models? I did find the bike incredibly stable while I took a test drive few weeks back but it did feel hard to maneuver at corners. Haven't ridden the old model anytime though.Originally posted by Ghost11 View PostThank you, will definitely try it one step stiffer. I have both 2018 as well as 2019 dominar and older one is more stable when changing directions at high speeds compared to the 2019 model.

It is completely stable as I have been riding it for last couple of weeks in Mumbai traffic and open roads, both feel absolutely amazing. I would say go for it.Originally posted by LordVishnu View PostThat almost sound like a deal-breaker to me as I'm planning to buy the new dominar but read your later post on how its better aimed at touring purpose than sporty or agile handling. Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
I test rode the bike yesterday and it leans towards the right a lot especially when you let go of the handlebars. Any particular reason for this?
Also, any suggestions for better tyres to replace the stock ones? Will mainly be used for city rides.
