2019 dominar seems to wobble more when you give zig zag movement. I hear this can be solved by setting up the rear shocks to a stiffer setting. Has anyone changed the preload settings in the rear shocks and how is the result?

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
              The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

              THE END

Yes 2019 Dominar has a softer/plushier suspension than the older one. Older one was better handler at speed keep the rear suspension one notch stiffer it would definitely aid the handling.

Thank you, will definitely try it one step stiffer. I have both 2018 as well as 2019 dominar and older one is more stable when changing directions at high speeds compared to the 2019 model.

Some of the reviews said that in the 2019 model ,the handle bars are set a little higher and that the headlights have new plastic internal inserts.

I checked both and guess what, the handlebar height is exactly the same ( even measured the fork lengths on both). Only the design of the mounting bracket of the handle bar has been changed.Internals of headlights are exactly the same. I guess you cant believe everything the reviewers say.

Interesting, 2 dominars in same garage. Do you plan to sell the older gen one or were you so much in love that you bought another one.
Jokes apart what major differences do you fell in the UG Dom. Also is buying the new UG dom an upgrade considering that i already own 2017 Dom.

It's because of the forks being different on both bikes, I've experienced this with Mojo XT300 vs UT300, would say it's due the fork setup, XT has had a USD fork setup whereas UT had normal telescopic on.

On a normal fork setup you always feels more stable and you need less steering input to maneuver the bike, on a USD setup you will need a more input to move the bike around but it'll have much more compression and rebound compared to same steering input on a normal fork setup, this is why you feel the bike is unstable as the handlebar will be still bouncing around from the rebound on the USD setup.

I have so far only done 300kms on the 2019 model,so I still need to put on more kms before I can give you a proper difference but to answer your last question, if you are considering it as an upgrade from 2017 model then there is no point going for the 2019 model. Purely talking about the engine of 2019, it feels like I got a 2018 model which was serviced by a top notch professional with an aftermarket free flowing exhaust slapped on.😅.

You are right. Like when I change the direction quickly the bike takes some time to settle (bouncing around) which is not the case with the older model.2019 model's suspension has been tuned to be a proper long distance easy going tourer. Less of a sporty handler and more of a mile muncher.

Finally got Hazard Light for my 2019 Dominar. It's from Simtac Auto and it's Plug & Play. Video is in below URL.

Hey guys, after waiting for 3 months finally Simtac Auto came with a Plug & Play Hazard module for the 2019 Model of Dominar. The Indicator light plug socket...

Hey guys! I've gone through the last 9 months worth of discussions on this thread and I'm pretty sure Dominar is my next bike. I currently own an RS200 and it's time for an upgrade.

I've heard that it's possible to trade in the stock tyres when they're brand new and buy a new set of tyres (eyeing Apollo H1 or Rosso 2). Do you guys know a place in Bangalore that can help out? Or any other suggestions?
