Seems like a poorly adjusted clutch cable, or a frayed cable itself.

@dmr, how much clutch play have you kept? I would start by first adjusting the play on the clutch cable.

Ok thanks, I will start with clutch cable setting.

Only time it can give jerk is when at the time of shifting into the neutral the light glows but the gear is still engaged and u let go the clutch. So if u leave the bike as it is means gear not properly disengaged and you start it , it should start jerk and stop.
I agree. Bike was left in neutral at rest. Then bike should not have started when in gear as I was not depressing the clutch.
I simply turned the key and pressed start.
That is when bike started and jerked forward and fell down.
If I had saddled the bike, different story but I have the habit of letting the bike stabilize at 1500 rpm before mounting.
Anyways, thanks, lesson learnt. Mount before starting.
Will get the cable setting corrected. I think I need less play.

          Hi,

Completed 1 month and ODO 1k KMs within city Rudy riding below 70kms/hr.

          Few questions:
          A. When can hit tripple digit?
          B. Which one is better handbag raiser - LLuvia or CarbonRacing??
          C. 'Kich kich' sound is coming from rear left hand side. Got it checked at service centre, they said chain need to be cleaned and lubed. Did anyone hear same sound from chain?

You can hit triple but don't stay there too long. Don't accelerate too fast.
            Otherwise follow manual.
I got lluvia , worked out it so far. Don't put them unless you feel discomfort in traffic.
If you are young and not too tall, skip.
Kich kich was audible for me also. Wear a helmet. Hehe. Check the notch marking position for both sides. Is the bike leaning to one side at 80 plus.
If not, it's just the dominar. Lubing will help slightly. Spray every weekend then see difference.

Let's be within 80 Kms/hr till the time I complete 2k KMs. Just crossed 1k Kms.

Haven't ridden the bike in dense traffic, but felt discomfort (not pain) in my palm. Tilted the handlebar towards me helped to some extent, but I thought adding a handle raiser would be a great help. I am 29 and my hight is 5'6.5''. Please confirm should I go for handlebar risers?

Cleaned and lubricated the chain, sounds seem to be gone. Drove around 12 Kms today, will let you guys know once I ride long. Which Notch marking are you referring to, can please share some pics or explain further. Sorry for my ignorance. Haven't crossed 80 KMs/hr as of today.

              Thanks in advance.

The discomfort you're talking about in palm. I've also experienced same when i bought it new. But now I'm comfortable. It'll be fine over time i believe.

Use the hips to grab the bike. This reduces weight on the palm and wrists. Make sure there is no tension in the arms.

I liked the handle raisers but because I do a lot of traffic. But I loved the earlier handling better.

Chain adjustment marking on both side of the swingarm , which is also a indicator of wheel alinement.

Both LLuvia and carbon racing risers are same dimensions.

Then I will wait for few more days and then take a call..

I will be doing a weekend trip of 400 KMs. Any tip, this will be my first long ride. Planning to be within 80kms / hr as I have not completed 2k KMs.

                          Another question:
I have got my number plate fitted, Pollution done, road tax done and insurance done. But didn't receive the RC but have the RC downloaded in digilocker. Can I take the bike another city in same state? This will be helpful.

By installing risers you'll get more upright riding posture on dominar which is way more comfortable than stock position. No need to grab tank just to relax your palms. Also you can't grab tank all the time on your long ride. Everyone need relax ride and not the stressful one.

                            Risers will do magic.

Digilocker is a government approved app. All the documents there are verified and considered genuine. So yes digital rc should work. But can't say about illiterate cops trying to pull money in any way and that too in another state.

And why the hell we required PUC certificate on BSIV engines.
Every BS4 engine is made to follow pollution norms. Then why there's is this PUC and huge penalty for not having it.

PUC is required for every vehicle irrespective of it's BS rating. A new vehicle usually doesn't need you to go get a PUC for the first six months (because it comes with one, that is valid for 6 months or so... usually a green sticker if you observed the paper work)

After the first 6 months, the puc needs to be done every 6 months or so (varies from state to state).
This is to validate that the vehicle is still meeting the emission norms.

Sai Bajaj at Pune did not provide me with PUC slip, I knew about it so went right away to the nearest one and got it done..

I usually get a backache due to upright posture, more comfortable with a little lean that we have.. I come from Yamaha Fazer v1 to D400, so I like the lean though don't like the Yamaha R15 lean ..
Even long distance didn't get any back issues since I've already adapted, also it has less chances of me sitting like a hunch back which adds to more pain and incorrect body posture...
