Not bad if done on warm or hot engine.Originally posted by faysal_khan View PostHow bad is it to rev the engine upto 6 to 6.5k rpm during idle. Engine temperature was hot. I didn't do it on cold engine.
PS. I was trying to find a source of rattling noise.

Re: Bajaj Dominar 400 Ownership Experience Thread
Guys I'm having issues starting my 4 months old dominar. 2 days ago I did a small trip of 110 km. Whole night the bike was outside in the fog. I came home next day morning. It was okay the day before yesterday also. Then yesterday I didn't touch the bike as I was away from home. Now the bike isn't starting up. I checked the coolant level. It is in between min and max. There is some oil leak in the engine. What should I do?

He he he he bhai that is a diffrent realm. But for me dominar is the easiest one the weight is just a number here.Originally posted by Indivar View Post?? No it is not Ijs bhai. 100 cc bikes turn far easier than the Dominar. I have a CT 100. There is no comparison whatsoever.

Could be a battery related issue as this looks like seepage not a leak. Is there any warning light on the secondary console like low oil or battery or malfunction sensor?Originally posted by zini3 View PostGuys I'm having issues starting my 4 months old dominar. 2 days ago I did a small trip of 110 km. That's the starter relay clicking sound I am guessing, usually when battery voltage goes low and relay is not able to turn the starter motor.Originally posted by zini3 View PostThere is a tak tak sound under the pillion seat while I try to crank the engine[emoji37]
Remove the battery, get it charged and check again.
Check if something else is draining the battery if you have fitted any fog lights, horns etc etc.Bajaj SuperFE 150 - Forever in my heart

Do you own comprehensive coverage? Confirm with your insurance company to verify that rodent damage is covered, as it may not be in every location or circumstance.Originally posted by zini3 View PostI took my bike to the svc in a mini truck. They found out the issue. Mice chewed some wires under the petrol tank. I have to change the whole wiring. It will cost around 10k
