Hi deep and Ijs, need your feedback on Apollo H1 if you used it. Only looking for grip aspect, tyre life doesn't matter. Even 12K-14k life is fine for me.
I have used the stock Metz M5 W rated, then the Michelin Pilot Sport and finally now running on Pirelli Diablo Rosso 2(W rated).

My order of preference till now in terms of grip is Pirelli Diablo Rosso 2(W rated)>Metz M5(W rated)>Michelin Pilot Street.

Need to know if Apollo H1 is above or below Rosso 2(W rated)?

At par or above not below. I don't have too much riding on rosso2 but i freind using metz m7 says alpha is very good. And one more thing the rosso2 comes with mojo are h rated and Alpha is better than those.

        Thanks,
So I am guessing Alpha H1 would be equal to Rosso2 W rated and just above Metz M5 very slightly
And no Mojo XT300 comes with a W rated Rosso2 as stock tyre, I got my tyre from NAFS motors here in Bangalore which a Mojo SVC and tyres were stock replacement for Mojo.

So I am guessing this is the order:
        Metz M7>(Rosso2 W==Alpha H1 W)>Metz M5 W>Rosso 2 H>Metz M5 H>Michelin Pilot>(Ceat X1==MRF Revz)

Correct. I personally liked the wet grip of aplha and 2 others fellow owners went to leh recently were very impressed with cornering grip and the amount of usage or ghisai is way lower than perilli and metz.
Lets not drag this more here , otherwise it would become tyre thread. More discussion on tyres thread or my Apollo aplha thread.

When i asked for what distance or duration this has to be done they are now saying every service. I know its not the case may be some 15k kms or 20k kms once then its okay, but not every 5k is what i'm aware.

            1. Just wanted to know if anyone has got it done before if so whats the cost ?
            2. What is the average distance that a radiator needs to be flushed ?
            3. Bangalore bannerghatta road - Popular Bajaj service people without informing charge you 100 for Nitrogen filling, which i feel is very costly

Guys any feedback on the Radiator flushing anyone. Reposting this as i didnt get answer for this.

Hello. There's a really nice tutorial from YouTuber "THE SPORTZTOURER".

He has also uploaded video of many other dominar DIY videos.

As long as i know it's not needed every service after the 15k kms. You need to flush and add new coolant every 2 years or 15k kms. Whichever earlier.

                Thansk for the link
Yes, I have seen this before , But i wanted the info for how many kms of range is the flushing required. The video clearly shows the process of flushing the radiator but he doesn't mention the interval.

I've mentioned it in previous quote. Edited it actually. Every 15k or 2 years whichever earlier.

Where are these numbers from? I understand 2 years part but 15k?

It is nowhere mentioned in manual to flush coolant but you can practice changing it at 15k intervals. Because some bajaj SVC practice to change it at 15k some at 20k. You can extend further. No harm in there. But it's just a good practice to flush the coolant and refill with new.

                        Suggest me good chain lube.
I used motul, it's too sticky.
Then I used vista, it's totally shitty.

Chain lubes creates a mess when it is over done. Yes motul is bit more sticky.
Try gear oil ep90 in winters and ep 140 summers. Or any other dry chain lube like wurth dry lube, tribcor or the chain waxes.
A freind is using wurth dry lube and is very impressed with it. Dry lubes are less messy
Key here is not to over do it, there is no need to bathe the chain in lube as we have covered links chain and the target area should be o rings on both sides of the links.
Wipe off the old, lube warm the chain a little and apply then leave it for sometime and wipe off the extra if you can.

Lube whenever it feels dry there is no fixed period or interval , if it makes dry noise or looks dry ,just lube it but don't over do it.
I use gear oil Api gl4 from hp 140 and 90 grade.

So finally almost after few months of deliberation and wait, i got my dominar black in hand

I bought used one having about 850 kms on odo and 30 july 2018 registration for 1.37 L.

I rode 25 kms today and bike is really good. Since coming to bike after almost 13 years, comfort of car is surely missed but thrill of biking is more than little discomfort.

I think I still need to adjust rear view mirror and handle bar riser.

But I will take a call after few weeks of riding. I am sure body will get accustomed to new posture . Thanks for wonderful community of dominar, which instilled trust in dominar.

Any help on fuel gauge? How much is 1 bar and when should I fill fuel? I mean should I wait till last bar to disappear? Since I bought used bike it came with more than 3/4 tank. Right now it's 3 bar.
