    A query now...

Anyone using a highway flasher that works without any additional switch (should work on our indicator switch only) and which doesn't need wire cut to be done..

          Risers will do magic.

Digilocker is a government approved app. All the documents there are verified and considered genuine. So yes digital rc should work. But can't say about illiterate cops trying to pull money in any way and that too in another state.

And why the hell we required PUC certificate on BSIV engines.
Every BS4 engine is made to follow pollution norms. Then why there's is this PUC and huge penalty for not having it.
Will conclude once I do the long ride this weekend. High chances that I will go for the risers.

So true, our PM trying to go digital but our police are still anti-digital.

Irrespective of the BS stage, PUC is required post 6 months of buy.

After the first 6 months, the puc needs to be done every 6 months or so (varies from state to state).
This is to validate that the vehicle is still meeting the emission norms.
          I confirm the same.

800mm or 810mm not more than that, but it is just a number.

            800 mm it is.

Interesting Saorabbh. Fact is, even if BS VI comes, the pollution norm is there to say unless there is change emissions law. Here's how it works. Any vehicle with BS IV or BS VI or even higher standards can be launched with a set norm from the factory. Now, how "true does the vehicle stick to this standard" is what's determined by the pollution check. They inspect the vehicle periodically, that is every six months to make sure the vehicle in question irrespective of BS "any standards" adheres to their pollution guideline. If we have a polluter which a faulty engine even with BS VI standards and it shoots their threshold scale, the test is a fail.

And dothediy and Spiraltech both offer plug and play solutions with flashers. It's Spirtaltech who took the turf first followed by dothediy. dothediy is a wee bit costlier IIRC, but these offer plug and play solutions and no splicing or pinching of wires required.

              Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
              The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

I did a mix of both methods: soft break-in for the first 800 km and hard break-in later.

I'm ok to spend if it does no damage to anything else and lasts longer.. Only am a bit scared to do it, not that I can't.. I'm known to fiddle a lot, more than needed at times ..

Can we use the discover or pulsar 135 grab rail on the dominar? My mother finds it difficult to use the stock grab rails when sitting on the bike.

Yes, with some welds modification or use of patti.

It's getting cold here at Pune.. Checked the engine oil level in the morning and it seemed to drop, however later when I halted from my ride it was back to normal...
Any idea it's the cold? or should I top up my oil..

Always check on warm engine first thing is morning , that will be the correct level.

Just one more question, any other way other than the indicator to know ABS is functional? I today had to sudden brake but the bike for the first time skid, quite unusual, was expecting ABS to kick in...
